Hello, my name is Sydney Morgan. I recently ordered two books from Chegg: "Envision in Depth" and "So You've Been Publicly Shamed." However, upon checking my PO Box after the expected delivery date, I was informed that the books were not available at the Post Office. After reviewing the shipping address, I realized that the PO Box number I provided was not clearly displayed. Due to this issue, I believe the books may have been returned to Chegg. I no longer require "So You've Been Publicly Shamed," as I purchased a copy from a local store. I would appreciate a refund for that book, but I still wish to receive "Envision in Depth," for which I have already made payment. Could you please advise me on the reordering process for "Envision in Depth"? Thank you for your assistance.

Since yesterday, I've had issues accessing my Chegg Study subscription. Whenever I attempt to view answers to questions, clicking "View this answer" just refreshes the same page. I've tried troubleshooting by logging out and in again, clearing cookies, and changing browsers. The app indicates there's no subscription linked to my email, yet my recent orders show a payment for Chegg Study made yesterday (9/14/[redacted]). Despite discussing this problem with a support agent yesterday, it remains unresolved. I recognize that resolving such matters may require time, but as a paying customer, it's crucial for me to utilize the service. I appreciate any assistance you can provide.

I chose to sell my books to Chegg based on positive reviews, but recent experiences have been disappointing. After sending my books over a month ago, I received an email confirming their receipt and promising payment. However, it has been over fifteen days without any updates, which I find unacceptable. I expect fair compensation for my books, which were in excellent condition. If this issue is not resolved promptly, I will seek further action. I demand either payment or the return of my books in the same condition. If Chegg is unwilling to cooperate, I will warn others about their unreliable service.

I have been a customer for about a year now. After finishing my classes in May, I realized that I had been paying for the subscription all summer despite not using it. Unfortunately, I lost my wallet recently, which included my money and debit card. I was notified that my subscription payment didn't go through because of the new card. Since the classes I need are not offered this semester, I decided to cancel my subscription until the spring semester. However, I noticed that the subscription was still active until 10/05/18, and random charges were being attempted. Given my loyalty to Chegg and the fact that I paid throughout the summer without utilizing the service, I kindly request for the last month's fee to be waived. I understand the terms of the agreement, but I believe as a loyal customer, this request is not unreasonable. Please consider this as I contemplate renewing my subscription in the future. I appreciate your assistance. Thank you, GregoryGill.

I bought a textbook with a promised 4-week trial, but I was unexpectedly charged for a monthly subscription. I did not receive any notification about this automatic transition. Seeking to cancel my subscription immediately and request a refund. I attempted to reach out to Chegg a few days ago but have not received a response. Order number: Y7FT3M34

Hello, I'm Masara Alsayegh. I've been a Chegg user for almost 2 years. Yesterday, I was prompted to reset my password, which I did. However, I still couldn't access the solution I needed. I verified my account and tried updating my billing information by re-entering my credit card details. Unfortunately, I was overcharged this time, whereas I used to pay $14.95 monthly. Could you assist me with this issue?

When I initially created my Chegg account, I linked it with my Facebook account which was also connected to my high school email address. Unfortunately, my high school email account has been deleted, making it impossible for me to access my Chegg account. I attempted to update my Facebook email in order to regain access but was unsuccessful. Despite trying the "forgot my info" option, I did not receive the promised email with the new login details. I am frustrated because I am unable to access my account to read my essential online books for my classes. I am eager to resolve this issue promptly to avoid having to purchase additional books unnecessarily. My main goal is to regain access to my current Chegg account without creating a new one.

I recently reactivated my Chegg Study subscription after it was paused. I applied a Sallie Mae loan code (Sallie Mae EB-4MO) for 4 free months with Order #245HRE39. Despite this, I was mistakenly charged the regular $16.03 subscription fee for Chegg Study with Order #75XJF1J8. Even though my account shows it's paused until Dec. 27th, it seems to want to continue charging me monthly. I'm seeking a refund for the month I was incorrectly charged and assurance that I won't be charged until after the 4 free months expire. Thank you for your assistance.

Hello, I need assistance with resetting my password for my Chegg.com account under the email subscription [redacted] I have been trying to reset my password, but the reset-password email is not coming through to my inbox or spam folder. The recent security email I received mentioned unauthorized access to some data, so I really need to reset my password promptly. Can you please assist me in resetting my password? Thank you, Naser

I recently sent a package containing 1 paperback textbook and 2 ebook codes to Chegg for a refund. After dropping off the package by the requested date, I only received an email confirming the receipt and refund of one book. I am still awaiting confirmation of the delivery of the ebook codes and the refund for the remaining 2 books. Upon checking the website, I noticed that ebooks must be returned within 14 days for a refund, not the 21 days originally stated. I would appreciate confirmation of the delivery of the other 2 books and information regarding when I can expect to receive the refunds.

Hello, I am Ida Thomas. I placed an order for the rental book “The Oxford Handbook of Mood Disorders” (Order # M1PX1ZUV) but did not collect it from the UPS pickup point. After contacting UPS to return the package, they informed me it would be resent by September 8th. I became aware that this date falls before the deadline for a full refund. I received an email confirming my return was processed on the 25th, which is after the due date. As far as I understand, the refund eligibility required the package to be postmarked by the due date. I apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate Chegg's assistance. Looking forward to your response. Thank you, Ida T.

Dear Chegg, I recently renewed my Chegg Study subscription for $19.95 to my email address on file. When I tried to log in yesterday, I was prompted to change my password for unknown reasons. After doing so, I noticed that my previously asked questions were missing from my account and I was unable to access the service despite having just resubscribed. I had 15 questions left and it has only been a few days since I renewed. Could you please assist me in restoring my previous subscription? Thank you.

I recently purchased a textbook from Chegg and upon receiving it, I was disappointed to find obnoxious pink highlighting, notes overlapping the text, and pen scribbles throughout the book. This poor quality was not mentioned before I made the purchase, and now, after using it for assignments, I realize that almost every page is unreadable due to the previous owner's markings. I would never have bought this textbook if I knew it was in such a bad condition. I ended up purchasing another book from Amazon. I am requesting a refund from Chegg. I am willing to send pictures of the defaced text and return the book if needed, although it is in such poor shape that it might be considered trash.

I have noticed a recurring charge in my checking account for over a year now. However, I'm puzzled because my Chegg account has been inactive for some time. I can provide all the transaction ID numbers for these recurring payments. I want to cancel this membership and dispute these charges since I haven't used or accessed this account in a long time.

I have used Chegg for a few years and cancelled my subscription when I graduated from university in May [redacted]. I realized that I was still registered until the end of September [redacted], despite not using Chegg since May. When I cancelled, it indicated I could use my account until the end of October. Today, on October 16th, I attempted to log in and found that I cannot access my account, even though it should be active until the end of October. I am not seeking to use the account, but I would like a refund if there is an issue with it.

Hello, I am looking for a way to extend my textbook rentals until after my finals on December 20th since the due date is the 21st. Dealing with Chegg has been difficult, and I believe some compensation is in order for the issues I have faced. Despite reaching out to customer service multiple times, my concerns have not been adequately addressed. Unlike when purchasing textbooks from the school bookstore, Chegg's lack of flexibility is frustrating, especially considering the prices are not significantly lower. In the future, I may opt to pay more for timely and reliable service. It would be greatly appreciated if Chegg could allow me to return the books for free on the 21st after my exams to better prepare for them.

I believe I may have used the wrong email when signing up for my Chegg account to order a book. I mistakenly thought I used my boyfriend's email, but it seems to be incorrect. After ordering the book and adding my card for payment, I received a four-week free trial. However, when attempting to log in to cancel the trial before being billed, I realized I can't access the account with the incorrect email. I have my payment card details and screenshots of the account, but the email is partially hidden. My boyfriend attempted to recover the account through the "forgot my password" option, but no email notifications were received, even after checking all folders. I urgently need to cancel the free trial to avoid charges as I am a financially struggling college student.

I have discovered that my daughter is being billed for two accounts, possibly even three. In August, there were three charges of $14.95 and three charges of $19.95 on her MasterCard, totaling $[redacted].70. It seems like there are two accounts being charged $14.95 monthly, and we cannot figure out the $19.95 charge. September and October each had two charges of $14.95. The first account is under [redacted], and the second account is under [redacted] Could you please investigate these accounts, assist in canceling one of them, and look into the over $[redacted] charges in August [redacted]? We are hoping for a refund due to the double billing for two accounts. Initially, when she closed one account, it appeared closed, so she unknowingly set up a new account resulting in double charges. I spoke to someone today about this issue, but they were unaware of the second account at that time. I can provide copies of the six credit card charges in August and the duplicated charges in September and October.

On September 13th, I subscribed to Chegg for assistance and was charged $19.95 USD ($28.16 AUD). When I tried to cancel, I was offered a discounted rate of $4.95 USD for the next month, so I decided to continue the subscription. However, on October 12th, I was charged the full amount of $19.95 USD ($28.33 AUD), leading me to cancel my account immediately. Today, November 12th, I was charged the full amount again, this time $19.95 USD ($27.64 AUD). I am very disappointed with these charges and request a refund for the payments made on October 12th ($28.33 AUD) and November 12th ($27.64 AUD). I look forward to your response. Thank you.

Hello, I have recently been accused of using Chegg resources to complete a university assessment. It is alleged that I either posted assignment questions on Chegg or accessed posted answers using my email address. Despite having a limited non-paid registration on Chegg, I have never accessed actual answers or posted questions. I am seeking a log of my sign-in history and non-paid account status with Chegg. Additionally, I kindly request written confirmation from Chegg that non-paying subscribers cannot access answers or post questions. This information is crucial for my defense as there are other sites with similar content as Chegg. Thank you. Sincerely, Mark N. Email: [redacted]
