I am experiencing significant challenges with your background check procedures. When applying for Uber, I have been cleared for a location different from the one I am applying to twice now. Additionally, I am being asked to provide documentation that I cannot obtain as I have relocated from Texas to New York due to military service. I have a New York driver's license for almost a year now, as New York required me to surrender my Texas DL before issuing the new one. Texas requires an audit number from my old license to get my driving record, which I am unable to get. I have submitted my Texas driving record twice via my insurance provider. The process is becoming frustrating and complicated. After spending an hour on the phone with the Texas DMV, they advised me that I must provide specific information only they have access to or physically go to the Texas DMV, which is approximately [redacted] miles away from me. I am unable to speak to a representative either through your services or Uber, and my background check has once again been suspended. Your assistance in resolving this matter is greatly appreciated.

I began my background check on 10/04/18 by verifying my SSN through a form from Checkr. As of today, 10/22/18, my status is still pending. Checkr informed me via email that my SSN verification was unsuccessful. Even though I previously submitted the information correctly on 10/04, I received a message to re-enter the SSN. When attempting to do so, the system does not allow for it, stating my background check is pending. Even after providing my name, full SSN, and birthdate on the applicant portal, it still shows as pending. I'm puzzled about how my SSN is on file without being verified and how I can access the pending information. I need assistance to move forward with completing my background check.

Hello Support Team, I recently submitted my information on Checkr's Contact Us page as an applicant for Lyft. Unfortunately, my background check has been suspended due to incomplete details. Here is the correct and complete information: - First Name: Adefemi - Last Name: Obisanya - Email: [redacted] - Phone: [redacted] - Company: Lyft - Inquiry Date: 10/17/18 Comments: I provided my full details including my date of birth, address, tax ID number, Maryland driver's license number, and clarified that I do not have a social security number at the moment. The social security number displayed in my data is incorrect, and I applied as a Lyft driver using my tax identity number. I believe this updated information should be sufficient for running a comprehensive background check on me. Thank you for your assistance.

I recently completed background checks for both Lyft and Uber using the same email and phone number. Checkr has finished processing my Uber check, but now there seems to be a mix-up with my Lyft background check. When I received the update email from Lyft prompting me to log into Checkr, I noticed that while it said my background check was complete, it also displayed information related to Uber at the top of the page. I'm hoping this can be resolved so that I can clarify the status of my Lyft background check.

I am trying to contact their San Francisco office as I have not received any response to my emails in a week. My issue stemmed from confusion over my background check. Despite providing my SSN, they initially couldn't locate me, but upon giving it again, they found me immediately. Unfortunately, this led to Lyft being informed that I was not found during their search, resulting in my account being canceled for supposedly providing false information. I believe this confusion could have jeopardized my job, and I am hopeful that if they review the situation, they will see the error and it could potentially rectify the issue with Lyft. Hello, my name is Samara G. I previously worked for Uber this year and had a positive experience. Recently, I attempted to rent a car through Uber's rental program, but my background check came back rejected due to a past misdemeanor. The issue is that I had this incident cleared in October. I am looking to have my background resubmitted so I can return to working with Uber. However, each time I try to access Checkr, my account cannot be located. I am 25 years old and need to prove a year of driving history to work for Uber. My current license is less than a year old, and I lost my previous one. I followed instructions to obtain a driving record from the motor vehicle commission and paid $15, but it was rejected because it lacks the original license issue date. The MVC won't provide a document with the issuance date. I have lost time, wages, and the fee because of this issue and still have no approval. As an Uber driver, I encountered four issues on my recent background check with Uber. One incident involved me being the victim of a hit-and-run, which caused me to be offline with Uber since then. I have submitted a copy of the police report to Checkr and Uber, yet my Uber account remains on hold. Each time I have called Uber and requested to speak with a supervisor, the response has been the same, instructing me to dispute the background check with Checkr. This situation is critical for me as a disabled Marine Corps veteran; driving for Uber is my sole means of supporting my family. Hello, there seems to be a continuing issue with a DUI on my record from over 7 years ago. As of November [redacted], I, Matthew C. I recently applied for a job with Lyft, and CheckR conducted a background check on me. It revealed a $[redacted] fraud case supposedly involving Uber in California from about a year and a half ago. However, I distinctly remember my bank's fraud department calling to verify a $[redacted] charge for a ride in California, a place I have never been to as I live in Florida. This clearly indicates it was not me. During that time, there was a class-action lawsuit regarding similar incidents, which Uber settled. Since then, I have undergone several background checks that didn't mention any fraud cases. I even consulted the sheriff's department, but they couldn't find any record of this allegation. This misunderstanding is now hindering my job prospects with Lyft. I have a disability that confines me to driving due to back issues. Despite my attempts to resolve this, I am still facing obstacles. During my time working at 7-Eleven, there was an incident involving entrapment by the Florida police. I ran an underage person's ID through the computer which mistakenly indicated the individual was of legal age. I have encountered a frustrating situation with Checkr. They have been unresponsive to my calls and emails regarding a wrongful suspension of my license that has since been resolved. Discovering my license suspension only when applying for Door Dash and Shipt, both using Checkr for background checks, has caused delays. Interestingly, my application for Instacart was instantly approved. Checkr promised to escalate my case for the other two apps two weeks ago but I am still awaiting a response. I believe that since Instacart approved me, the other apps should too. This delay is causing monetary loss as I am unable to work without their decision. I am disappointed by Checkr's lack of communication. Your assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I submitted an application for an apartment on Zillow. I received a message stating that my background check is pending, which requires me to review it on the Checkr portal. When I attempted to access my report, the portal indicated that it does not exist. I am concerned that this delay with Checkr may cause me to miss out on the opportunity to secure housing. I completed the background check and provided a copy of my license several days ago. I am puzzled as to why my report is not appearing in the Checkr system.
