I made a booking on Cheaptickets for flights from East London, South Africa to Phuket for 4 people, departing on February 23rd and returning on March 5th, including 3 nights at a beachfront hotel. The booking is under the names Delport and Russell. However, when I entered my credit card details, it was rejected and I was prompted to use a different card. After my husband approved the transaction with our credit card company, I received an authorization number from Qatar Airways, but I have not received any confirmation or booking details. My husband attempted to book a ticket, but the price increased before he confirmed it. He asked me to try purchasing another ticket, but I couldn't proceed as I was prompted to use a different card or contact my card issuer. Upon calling my bank, I was informed that Delta had placed a hold on my account. I am confused as to why they would hold funds if the ticket was not confirmed. Could someone clarify this for me?

I recently booked a flight through Cheap Tickets, but encountered issues with my itinerary upon receiving it. Despite getting it fixed over the phone, I arrived at the airport only to find that there was another mix-up with the booking. When I contacted Cheap Tickets again, they denied any wrongdoing and mentioned that the airline was responsible. Despite the ability to issue a refund according to my ticket, they refused to do so. This experience has left me thoroughly disappointed, especially since I missed my daughter's graduation due to their error. I will be sharing my negative experience widely to caution others about using their services. The offered voucher is not acceptable to me, as I did not initially pay with a voucher and seek a refund instead. Rest assured, I will continue to highlight this issue until the matter is resolved satisfactorily.

Good afternoon, On June 18, [redacted], I purchased a ticket using my Mastercard ending in [redacted]. I received a message stating that my e-ticket was not confirmed and was advised to wait for confirmation. After not receiving any updates on my flight by June 25, I checked my itinerary, only to find no reservation was made. I emailed but received no response regarding this issue. As a result, I used another Mastercard, ending in [redacted], to buy a new ticket, which was confirmed. However, during my trip on June 28, I was informed of a double booking. I now request a refund for the initially purchased ticket as I was charged twice for the same flight. Please refund the amount to my Mastercard ending in [redacted]. I purchased a ticket with you for New York to Bogota and back, scheduled for August 31st at 10:50 pm in terminal 1. Upon arrival, the flight was not listed at terminal 1. After inquiring, I was directed to terminal 6 after 20 minutes. Arriving there, the flight had already closed with 1 hour and 5 minutes to departure. I was informed it was a security flight and I couldn't board due to the misinformation. I am still in Bogota and need to travel for work. Considering the lack of correct information, I am unwilling to pay large penalties for this specific case. I request assistance promptly to change the date without penalties.

Hello, I recently made a hotel reservation in Playa Del Carmen via the CheapTickets website. The booking process was smooth. However, when I contacted the hotel later to confirm our reservation, they could not locate it. Despite providing my itinerary number and name, the hotel could not find the booking in their system. Due to language barriers, it was challenging to communicate with the staff effectively. Despite multiple attempts, I did not receive any confirmation from the hotel. After contacting CheapTickets customer service, they reassured me that the reservation was valid and advised me to reach out to the hotel again, which I did with no success. Subsequent calls to CheapTickets were disrupted multiple times. Now, I am reaching out to CheapTickets through email for assistance. My itinerary number is [redacted]39, and I have a confirmation number [redacted]8. I am uncertain if the hotel refers to the confirmation or itinerary number. I did not provide the confirmation number during my initial call, unaware of its existence until reviewing the itinerary email. The hotel in question is The Fives Hotel and Residences in Playa del Carmen, and my name is Patricia Gibbons. Hi, We are currently facing an urgent situation with this itinerary and require immediate assistance. As American citizens, we are being informed that we are not allowed entry into Russia. This change in our itinerary to Moscow was made without our prior knowledge, and now we are unable to enter the country where we had hotel and restaurant reservations for 12/31. We urgently need to adjust our tickets to return to New York at a different time. We are looking to depart from Bangkok at either 21:50 or 4:05 to Moscow, and depart from Moscow at 10:10 to 12:25 on flight #SU6276. I am disappointed with the customer service experience I had. My reservation got canceled while I was on hold for over 45 minutes. I received unclear answers and feel inconvenienced as a result. This issue made me late for my appointment. Additionally, a hold was placed on my funds after my card was refunded, and now I lack the funds to book another room. I wish to be compensated for the inconveniences caused by this situation. Thank you.

I made a reservation with CheapTickets on July 10th for a trip to Canada for three people, and also purchased travel insurance. Unfortunately, on July 18th, one person from our group couldn't travel. I contacted CheapTickets to cancel the flight for the person who couldn't travel. They mentioned a $[redacted] cancellation fee per airline, and said it would take about 5 business days to process the reimbursement. Later, CheapTickets advised me to contact the insurance company to check if they would cover the canceled tickets. After we returned, I reached out to both airlines, United and Delta, and they confirmed the tickets are eligible for reimbursement. The airlines directed me to discuss the issue with CheapTickets, while CheapTickets suggested resolving it with the airlines.

I was charged an extra $[redacted] for a flight that was supposed to be scheduled for the next flight to Miami on Wednesday. My original flight was on 9/8/18 at 12:53 PM. My name is Kiyana G. and I was informed my ID was lost, causing me to miss my flight. I was placed on the next flight to Philadelphia to Fort Myers, boarding at 6:08 PM. The manager said I wouldn't be charged but I ended up having to pay $[redacted] for a Lyft to Miami. The total trip cost was $[redacted], and with this additional charge, it's become $[redacted]. I need this unauthorized charge of $[redacted] refunded. I did not agree to this payment, and if I had noticed it earlier, I would have questioned it.

When I purchased four flight tickets to Miami, the app did not provide any warning about baggage costs. Unlike American Airlines, where baggage details were clearly displayed offering one carry-on bag and first checked bag at no additional cost, I was surprised to find out that my tickets with Latam did not include a first checked bag upon entering my reservation code in their app. This was unlike my past experiences using CheapTickets since [redacted], as I have always found their service to be reliable and transparent. It's disappointing that due to the app not showing necessary information during my purchase, I am now facing unexpected additional costs.

Itinerary #[redacted][redacted] - I am scheduled to take a flight tomorrow, February 5, [redacted]. Unfortunately, due to unresolved family emergencies, I need to extend my stay. Is it possible to receive a credit for this flight for use at a later time? I have not checked in as I am waiting for your guidance. Hello, my name is Eric W. My itinerary number is [redacted][redacted]. Due to the worldwide Covid19 pandemic, Disneyland Resort has closed and is waiving all cancellation fees. After being on the phone for hours, a Walt Disney vacation agent informed me to cancel through cheaptickets.com with no fees. However, when attempting to cancel on the website, I was going to be charged a fee according to your policy. I contacted Cheaptickets.com on March 12 at 21:25 and spoke with an agent who called the Disneyland hotel to cancel my reservation. The agent assured me the reservation was canceled, but my account still shows "in-progress" instead of "cancelled." I am yet to receive any emails confirming the cancellation.

I have been trying to reach out to Cheap Tickets through calls and live chat but they keep disconnecting the conversations without providing a refund. My son and I faced a distressing situation as we were asked to leave a hotel due to a false accusation of sexual harassment made by the GM after seeing my partner visit me. Despite prepayment for the stay, the hotel refused a refund and directed me to contact Cheap Tickets. However, my attempts to explain the situation to their customer service agents were met with indifference and rudeness. I am currently homeless and in desperate need of the refund, but the company has been uncooperative and unsympathetic. They seem to prioritize their financial interests over customer care, disregarding my side of the story and valid evidence. It has been a week of unsuccessful attempts to resolve this issue, leaving my son and me without a place to stay. The lack of empathy and professionalism from Cheap Tickets is truly disappointing as I struggle to find someone willing to address my situation respectfully.

Hello, On 22/02/[redacted] to 24/02/[redacted], I transferred €[redacted].58 to Ryanair for a trip. However, Ryanair claims to have only received €[redacted].01. I am puzzled by this discrepancy. Do you retain such a large commission? If so, how much is it? I have proof of my payment. Why does Ryanair state they didn't receive it? Could you please clarify? I have booked a round-trip flight to Montego Bay departing on May 1 and returning on May 8. Unfortunately, our inbound flight has been changed, and I need to speak with a representative to adjust the flight schedules. We initially booked with JetBlue for a nonstop flight back from Montego Bay to RDU #[redacted]. However, we received a notification from Cheap Tickets that our return flight was now with United, which is causing us a great deal of dissatisfaction. Despite contacting customer support, they were unable to assist us with this issue. My main concern is why our reservation was switched from JetBlue to United for the inbound return flight.

Dear Cheap Ticket, I have made multiple attempts to contact you via email but have not received a satisfactory response. As previously mentioned, I was scheduled to travel on March 13, but due to a delay in my Covid test results, I was rebooked for the 14th. Unfortunately, my test came back positive. LKM informed me that I should reach out to Cheap Ticket for a refund or a voucher, but I have not heard back from your company. None of the numbers listed online, including the Hotline, seem to work, leaving me feeling confused and stranded. I have submitted evidence of my test results and the letter from the Gesundheitsamt. I need help locating a flight I booked in early [redacted]. It was a one-way trip from Yuma, Arizona to Phoenix, then to Spokane on American Airlines for June 10, [redacted]. Due to Covid-19, I had to cancel around May or late April [redacted]. Unfortunately, I didn't keep a copy of the reservation. American Airlines couldn't find the booking without the confirmation and ticket numbers. Could you please check your records for any information related to this reservation? I would like to use the credit from that flight towards a new booking for a one-way trip from Yuma, AZ to Spokane, WA on June 16. Your assistance with this matter would be greatly appreciated.
