*. Why have you have charged me a disconnection and late charges, when you announced that you waived them during the covid** pandemic?**. I am still waiting for the credit of $***.** for connecting internet to the house I moved into in Sept. ****. I told you then and before I moved here that I didn't even own a computer. You sent an installer here to put in internet while friends were cleaning the house and I never even made an appointment for installation of internet as I didn't own a computer. I found out later in Jan. of **** when I finally got a laptop and ordered internet service and was told by you that a modem with self-installing instructions would be sent to me via Fedex (I knew you didn't use Fedex) and my phone went dead for * days and by some miracle a repairman called me on my landline and I asked him if he had a modem handy in his truck. His name was Matt. He was good enough to bring it to me and with all the problems I had, offered to hook up the modem. It took him a half hour to do so then he told me that I NEVER could have done it myself, even with the instructions. He asked to look in the outdoor telephone box. When he opened it his mouth dropped open and told me that there has been internet connected for a very long time in this house because you haven't used the colors of wires for internet for longer than I had even been here. How deceptive! Sending out someone to install something I didn't want and to find out later it was already here before I moved in anyway. ***. I received the notice about the class suit against you. Thank you. At this point, you probably owe me. I realize that DISH is owed money, but they claim I had a contract with them and they sent me a bill for an early cancellation of a contract that doesn't even exist! Upon my inquiry to them they said they are going to try to look for it and send me a hard copy. I am still waiting for it, and already know they can't produce such. My contract with them ended on Sept. **, ****.
