Stay well to enjoy this special trip. ... Wife and I got sick * days after boarding ship. Cabin attendant - the first day aboard, came into our cabin sneezing and coughing, stating he has had this issue for the past few days. He "contaminated" our cabin with his germs touching tv remote* our IPhones and various other things in our suite. Wife went to Dr. on board and received meds. I was so sick that I was coughing* sneezing* and could not sleep well. Placed myself on the couch outside the bedroom so wife could have some peace for the * nights.. We missed * excursions as a result of our colds.*Asking for compensation in the form of a voucher for the next time we sail on a Celebrity cruise. Feel that a voucher in the amount of $*,***. would be appropriate. The cost of our suite was almost $**,***. *Upon coming home to NJ we each had to go to our internist who placed us both on a Z-Pack. We are just starting to feel somewhat better. We are both ** and bought this special vacation as a treat to ourselves.
My illness along with my wife was caused by a crew member.
