My boyfriend's flight this morning was supposed to be at *:** AM from Cebu to Manila. He arrived at the check in counter * minutes late from the "**-minute rule" before the boarding time. He has a valid reason. He came from a far city going to Lapu-Lapu.**While on the way to the airport, he tried to log in on his account online hoping he could check in, but his account got locked out and he can no longer access it.**Again, he arrived just * minutes late from the "**-minute rule" before the boarding time. He still has ** more minutes supposedly, but the lady in the counter did not give any consideration and said the check in counter was already closed! I mean ** more minutes and with a reason, can't they consider that? If only she just checked him in and gave his boarding pass, he could've possibly run as fast as he could to get into the boarding gate. The boarding gates are not that far from the check in counters. Why not consider him instead?**Now he missed his flight just because the lady in the check in counter did not give any consideration! Not considering that he still had ** more minutes that time. He did not just missed his flight, but he also missed some days that he could've spent it to his family.**There were no explanations as to why they closed the check in counter so early and lead to a missed flight. Hopefully you could provide us enough reason for us to understand. **I will wait for your reply.
