Get a compensation ... Hi my name is Low Tung Tu Lucianna, a ** year old Canadian Citizen. On February *, ****, I flew from Jakarta at *:**am local time on flight number CX***, I arrived at Hongkong airport around after *pm local time, waiting to transit to Toronto, Canada. I was waiting at the airport looking for my flight number CX***, schedule to depart at **:** from Hongkong to Toronto, but I didn't see any of this information on the arrival * departure board, though I was checking often. Then suddenly I saw the final call on the board, I ran to the gate number that was posted on the board, but when I arrived there, the flight had already left. The flight attendant who was there told me that I was late, I told her I didn't hear the announcement calling my name, she answered that we don't do the calling anymore. Another guy guided me to the Cathay Pacific counter and the lady there gave me another ticket and told me she rescheduled my ticket for the next day, February *, ****, same flight number and departure time, and that my luggage will be in the same flight. I asked where I should spend the night, she said at the airport. This was my worst experience but I had no choice, spent the night in fear and hopelessness lying on the waiting chairs at gate **? I was surprised Cathay Pacific didn't help me or give me compensation for this, or offer any assistance. As a senior you can imagine how upset I was. Should I get a compensation from Cathay Pacific for this oversight?
