I recently returned from a cruise and wanted to share some feedback. Firstly, I purchased the bubbly package for my kids, but I believe it is not suitable for them to have to go to a bar to get their soda. On a previous cruise with Royal Caribbean, my children were given a cup to fill at various stations on the ship, which was more convenient. Secondly, I am disappointed with the food options on the ship. When I first cruised with Carnival, the food was a highlight, but now the dinners are overly fancy and lack flavor, with small portion sizes. Additionally, having only one pizza bar and limited buffet hours is inconvenient. I wanted to express my concerns as I am becoming less motivated to sail with Carnival in the future.

On June 30th, I made a reservation for a cruise with the booking number 5FFL84 on the Magic. The total cost was $[redacted].52 for a party of five, under my name Shannon Wooten. Unfortunately, due to a disagreement with my friend and co-traveler, the reservation was cancelled without my consent by the travel agent, Elizabeth Caran. I was told a refund of $[redacted].92 was issued, but the rest of the money remains unclear. I find it concerning that my vacation plans could be altered so easily without mutual agreement. I believe there should be a policy requiring consent from all involved parties before a cancellation is processed. I am now in the process of seeking legal advice to recover the funds for the cancelled cruise. This experience has left me disappointed and distrustful, especially towards Carnival for not safeguarding against such situations. I recently sailed on the Carnival Inspiration from 4/29 to 5/2 and overall had a great experience. The shows were entertaining, and the staff was courteous. However, there were a few issues. Firstly, it was unclear when the Buffet was open or closed. It would be helpful to have this information easily accessible for guests. Additionally, more food options beyond pizza after hours would be appreciated. Providing a menu of available food choices would also be beneficial to passengers. During the stop in Ensenada, a $20 special was advertised but felt like a letdown as it seemed to cater to a specific restaurant rather than giving us time to explore. When requesting a bathroom break on the bus, the delays were frustrating, especially for older passengers. Moreover, the room service experience was disappointing as the coffee tasted burnt and the food did not meet expectations. The description of the item I ordered was misleading as it turned out to be an egg muffin. Clarifying menu descriptions would avoid such misunderstandings in the future. Hi, My husband and I have enjoyed around 30 cruises on your fantastic cruise ships. We were aiming to reach Diamond status in time for our 55th wedding anniversary in April [redacted] to have our grandson stay in our room for free, but the rule change prevented us from achieving that. Despite this, we were hoping for some flexibility or consideration given the special occasion. We truly adore cruising with Carnival at least twice a year and have never been disappointed with your ships or crew. Our travel planner, Manny Valdes, has orchestrated over 98% of our trips, and we wouldn't book a Carnival cruise without him. He always looks out for us, from prices to room locations, and we truly appreciate his dedication. Any assistance you could offer would mean a lot to us. Subject: Concerns and Requests Regarding May 2 - 6, [redacted], Carnival Liberty Cruise To whom it may concern, I am writing in follow-up to a Feedback survey I submitted to Carnival around May 7, [redacted], detailing my recent cruise experience onboard the Carnival Liberty. Unfortunately, my cruise did not go as planned due to an illness I experienced after consuming undercooked salmon on the second day of the voyage. This illness persisted for several days, causing me to miss out on enjoying the amenities of the ship, including the Private Island visit. I sought medical attention onboard and was confined to my cabin for an extended period, missing out on planned activities. As a result of this disappointing experience, I am kindly requesting compensation in the form of a $[redacted] credit to my credit card and a $50 onboard credit to address the inconveniences I faced throughout the cruise. Given the circumstances and the impact it had on my overall cruise experience, I believe these requests are fair and reasonable. During our last day traveling on the Carnival Inspiration cruise to Catalina Island and Ensenada (5/27-5/31), I encountered a distressing situation in my stateroom bathroom. Upon flushing the toilet, it unexpectedly overflowed and spewed sewage, covering me and the bathroom walls. My husband and I sought assistance from our housekeeper, John, who attempted to clean it up. Frustrated and disgusted by the ordeal, we opted not to report the incident to guest services and disembarked from the ship. Our stateroom was R158. I am sharing this experience to urge the cruise line to address the issue promptly to prevent others from facing similar unpleasant circumstances onboard.

During my recent Carnival Cruise booking 7JCS05, my family experienced issues due to a delayed boarding. We were advised to check in our luggage upon arrival at the dock, which resulted in the disposal of the three wine bottles intended for our room. This miscommunication cost us $[redacted] and forced us to purchase drinks on board. We are scheduled for the cruise from Long Beach to Singapore on October 5 with reservation number 4VRG16. I recently received a message from Carnival mentioning that all travelers need a visa for the stop in Vietnam. As a Swedish citizen and my wife being a citizen of the Philippines, we are exempted from needing a visa to enter Vietnam for stays less than 15 and 21 days respectively. I have confirmed this with the Vietnamese Embassy Visa section. Therefore, we should not be charged any visa fees as mentioned in the email from Carnival. The visa exemption applies for entry at any port. Here is an excerpt from the email: ''Vietnam: All guests are required to have a visa. For your convenience, Carnival will facilitate the purchase of all Vietnam visas onboard, and a charge of $30.00 USD per person will be added to your Sail & Sign® account. Please note, this is a visa specifically for tourists arriving by sea.''

I didn't receive a survey, but I wanted to leave some comments about my recent cruise experience. In need of some rest and relaxation, I embarked on a five-day cruise. The outstanding service provided by my cabin steward, dining room waiter, and his assistant truly made this trip memorable. I appreciate the hard work of the crew on board. I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude. This vacation was exactly what I needed. During our recent cruise on the Carnival Glory from 7/28/19 to 8/4/19, we encountered some unusual issues. Initially, there was red liquid in our stateroom refrigerator which was promptly cleaned by the room attendant. Subsequently, we had a problem with the toilet not flushing, but it was fixed by the plumbers after we reported it. Upon returning from Cozumel, we noticed a chemical smell in our stateroom which escalated into a strong odor causing headaches. The guest service lady confirmed the smell and advised us to stay out of the room. Despite multiple visits to guest services, there was confusion and lack of updates. Eventually, we were allowed back into our room after a long wait and were compensated with a $[redacted] shore excursion credit. The lack of communication and delayed resolution was frustrating, especially with the accompanying headache. Our stateroom was [redacted] under my wife, Rebecca Tyler.

I am delighted to have achieved GOLD status almost two years ago. I was expecting to receive my GOLD pin by now. I would love to have it for my upcoming cruise on September 1 with booking #6NRH68. I have heard about the "upgrade fairy," but I have never been offered an upgrade. Perhaps it's because I usually book better rooms. However, receiving a SIGN AND SAIL credit would be much appreciated. Yesterday, my coworker received a $[redacted] SHIP AND SAIL credit due to a booking error. I was not compensated when my cruise was changed because of bad weather two years ago, and I ended up in Jamaica, a place I had already visited. Despite my experiences, I continue to bring my sister and nephew on cruises, hoping they will see how great CARNIVAL is.

I did not receive an email to provide feedback about my recent cruise, so I'm sharing my experience here. From August 1st to August 4th, my husband, adult daughter, son-in-law, and I, along with my granddaughter, enjoyed a cruise on the Elation. It was my granddaughter's first cruise, but we faced some disappointments. Despite the rules stating only two smoking areas, we encountered smoking in the Jekyll and Hyde nightclub, causing issues due to health concerns with pregnancy and personal health issues. The refrigerator in our cabin was not working during the entire trip, making it impossible to store water bottles. My granddaughter received a Build-A-Bear certificate but couldn't get one since they ran out, offering only Dr. Seuss characters and a dinosaur. The distribution of cookies at events should be better organized. The advertised $10 jewelry sale only had bags and sunglasses, not actual jewelry. During a visit to Gold by the Inch, the salesperson was rude to my granddaughter. The low seats in the theater were uncomfortable. Despite these issues, we appreciated the service provided by Nisa, Wilson, and Serghe in the dining room. Thank you, Alicia Preston.

I recently disembarked from the Fantasy cruise ship and I was extremely disappointed to the point of tears. I have been a loyal Carnival cruiser for many years and never had any issues before. Upon boarding, I encountered brown water from the sinks and dirty stained toilets. Despite voicing my concerns to the room attendant and front desk, I was met with unsatisfactory responses. I even heard negative feedback about the food and pool conditions. Despite my reservations, I reluctantly stayed onboard. Throughout the trip, there were further issues with rude staff, but some, like Roderick in the Dining room, were exceptional and made my experience better. Although Carnival used to be a favorite, I may not return after this disappointing trip. The Paradise ship remains my top choice due to its cleanliness and great staff. Thank you, Bethany Birt.

We spent nearly $[redacted] on a shore excursion that turned out to be a huge disappointment. The Carnival Cruise should be aware of our experience. Despite our excitement for a 3 1/2 hour snorkeling adventure, the reality was far from it. The excursion was poorly organized, with late start, lack of equipment, and unengaging guides. When it finally came time for snorkeling, we were rushed through it with limited time and guidance. The visit to an island with stingrays felt hurried with little time to enjoy. The drink provided was subpar, and the lunch lacked options, forcing me to wait to eat until later. Overall, this excursion fell short of expectations and is not worth the money. I hope others consider different options for a more enjoyable experience.

I am currently on the 4th day of a 15-day cruise and unfortunately, I have been facing challenges. The service at Guest Services has been disappointing, and the situation escalated when my 89-year-old mother fell in the shower. After waiting for what felt like ages for medical assistance, my brother had to help instead. It turns out her toe is broken. When I expressed my concerns to Orsi at Guest Services, she was dismissive, which was disheartening. This trip was meant to be a dream come true for my mother who always wanted to see the Panama Canal, but it has turned into a nightmare. My mother no longer wants to see the onboard doctor due to this experience. I am deeply disappointed and look forward to disembarking. My next cruise will be with Princess.

I just disembarked from the Carnival Glory. I had a great time on the ship; everything and everyone were excellent. However, we had Faster to the Fun (FTTF) but didn't receive our luggage until after we set sail. We were the last ones to get it. Additionally, we are interested in booking another cruise on the Glory for November 1, [redacted], and we were hoping to pay a half deposit like we did this time. I can't seem to find where it shows the $[redacted] deposit. Thank you.

I made a reservation for the FAHRENHEIT [redacted] STEAKHOUSE on the Carnival Horizon for 7 PM on Sunday, January 12, [redacted]. I paid in advance but received an email saying that 7 PM is not available and to respond via email, which I did but never heard back. Upon calling Carnival cruise customer service, Agent Amy informed me she couldn't assist. This customer service experience has been disappointing, especially since my cruise hasn't even taken place yet.

I'm looking to compare prices between Royal Caribbean and Carnival departing from the same port. We're already set for a March cruise on the Carnival Pride and are considering going again in August. The 7-night Bermuda cruise on August 2nd with Carnival is around $[redacted]. Alternatively, waiting until August 6th for a 9-night Bermuda cruise on Royal Caribbean from the same port seems cheaper and offers two extra days. We'll likely choose Royal Caribbean, although we have a preference for Carnival.

My family and I have sailed with Carnival numerous times without any issues until our recent experience on the Panorama, a seven-day Mexican Riviera cruise from December 21st to the 28th. This voyage, during the Christmas holiday, was the most disappointing one we've encountered with Carnival. Despite the ship's newness, it was consistently noisy, affecting our enjoyment at all times. The breakfast offerings were monotonous, serving the same food for all seven days without variety. The onboard shops were limited, and I even skipped adding a watch to my collection this time. The billing process for our onboard charges was a nightmare, with over a thousand dollars deducted from our debit card and taking nearly 10 days to rectify, which was unacceptable. Although my wife has cruised with Carnival over 10 times and I have sailed eight times, we are disappointed by this experience. We are contemplating our future cruise plans, considering destinations like Hawaii or the Caribbean and exploring other cruise lines for our next vacation. Sincerely, Dwayne Craig B.
