I was aboard the carnival liberty ship on ****** to Nassau and Freeport. This was my *th cruise all with carnival. This is the first time i have been disappointed.**Luggage: Once on board i immediately went to the lido deck for lunch. Upon arriving at the room, * of our luggage was not delivered. I asked the steward and he responded that it should come later. No problem, we proceeded to the muster station drill. After that, we went back to the room where the luggage was still not there. I proceeded to guest services where i was informed my luggage was damaged as well another person in the cabin. Hers was completely ripped, mine had a handle broken all threw way off. I was told hers would be replaced and mine had to be repaired by me, and then submit a receipt for possible approval. EXCUSE ME? My luggage was perfectly in tact when i arrived at the port. Why am i now required to do this work? They told me they would send the luggage up to me. * hours later my cabin steward went and got it because we needed to dress for dinner. **Dinner: Every cruise, i purchase the bubbles package so that i can have a soda with my dinner. Every year i get less soda then it would be if i just purchased them individually. But i do it anyways. I do not like hot soda poured over ice. That causes the ice to melt and will water down the soda. Who wants that? I always ask that my can is put on ice and brought to me once dinner arrives. I have done this on MANY cruises. This time, I was told that because I wanted the can to be cold, it wouldnt not be included with my bubbles and that I would have to pay for the soda. At this point I was too out done.**Cabin: when we got into the cabin I noticed it was a little warm. No worries, we were fresh out of the muster station drill and excited so that could have definitely contributed. By the time we left dinner and got back into the room, it was still not cooled off. I called my cabin steward who called maintenance. They came down and clicked a button and said they would be back in an hour. * *** hours later, I had to pick up the phone and call AGAIN for a different crew to come out and correct the problem. In the midst of this, the chocolate covered strawberries that I pre ordered and the cake that went along with the birthday package had both melted. Another total waste of my money.**Bathroom: The shower backed up terribly. So much so that my cabin steward had to bring in extra towels each time that we showered because the entire bathroom floor was drenched. Not because the shower head put water on the floor, but from actual back up. And then to top it off, the water didnt drain properly in the actual shower and caused us to have to shower in each others dirty shower water on the floor unless we waited an hour between each of us getting ready.**Typically I dont complain but this trip was the absolute WORSE carnival experience I have ever had. Absolutely TERRIBLE. I know I'm just a gold member and my complaints may not hold as much clout as your higher members, but I have been a loyal Carnival traveler and go on at least * per year. Was even trying to sneak in another before this year was over. I would really appreciate someone taking the time to read my email and also a response because at this point, I am very dissatisfied and willing to tell anyone who will listen. I just felt it better to start with the actual company.
