I've had to reach out to Caremark customer service multiple times in the past year to set up all my prescriptions for auto refill and auto notification to the doctor when they expire. Each time I've been assured that everything was sorted, but when the time comes, my prescriptions are not on auto refill. Two months ago, I updated my mailing address and requested it be used for all refills, not just the ones I manually order, but that change wasn't implemented when I called today. It seems like the reps might prioritize call times over completing all requested actions. Overall, my experience with Caremark's 90-day prescription service has been disappointing, inefficient, and frustrating.

I have been receiving emails from Caremark stating that medications ordered won't be shipped until I "confirm" the order. I don't know to whom I should confirm and how to go about 'CONFIRMING'. I called the CVS store, and the employee said she had no idea what I was talking about. I called Aetna Medicare, and the agent said she did not know and I need to contact Caremark. Please, somebody who knows why I am getting the emails, fill me in. I only have a laptop, a landline phone, and a mailbox. I'd appreciate finding out via one of those contact points quickly why this new hurdle to receiving medications. A shipment was lost that was ordered on 12/22/21, and without getting up to look, it arrived (after 2 phone calls) on 1/24/21. Two more shipments within the following 2 weeks were delayed, and I ran out of the meds: Clopidogrel, Lisinopril, and Raloxifene. Propranolol ordered on 1/23/21 arrived today with me agreeing to pay $23 for shipping and handling. Perfect storm? "I can't get the lid off, so I have missed morning and evening doses for 4 days; my hand tremors are making this long email quite difficult."
