About four days ago, I rejoined Care.com after being a member five years ago. Unfortunately, I'm facing similar issues as before. I used to be able to message for free, but now I'm being asked to pay repeatedly. My main issue is accessing the job section as it prompts me for a background check despite already paying $14.99 and a premium fee. I want to find work but can't due to this issue. I refuse to pay twice for a service I didn't fully receive initially. Contacting them by phone hasn't been helpful as I couldn't navigate the options. Getting help from Care.com seems challenging, just like my previous experience five years ago. I urgently need a job and need access to my account to search for one. I appreciate any assistance you can provide in resolving this matter.

I am frustrated and seeking a refund of $23.99 for a premium service I couldn't use. Care.com is not responsive, they require a sign-on to talk to them, but I refuse the background check request. I need help contacting them for my refund. Please provide the email address for Care.com as calling them hasn't been successful, pressing three on their phone line doesn't work. I am currently setting up my account on care.com. I was informed that it would be $4.99 for the first month and then $8.99 thereafter. After entering my credit card details, I was charged $4.99 successfully. However, when I tried to proceed with the application process by answering questions, I encountered an issue when entering my social security number. Every time I enter it and click next, I receive an error message prompting me to try again later. Despite several attempts, the problem persists, and I am unable to proceed on the website. Yesterday, I encountered an issue resetting my password. After clicking the reset link in my email, I was prompted to renew a background check for $19 instead of being able to create a new password. Despite attempting to purchase the background check multiple times, each time requiring new credit card information, I encountered technical difficulties. Despite my efforts to refresh the page and try again, the problem persisted. Subsequently, I discovered multiple charges on my bank statement for the background check due to the failed attempts. This morning, I attempted to resolve the password reset, but received an error stating my email was invalid. I am unsure of the cause of this issue and seek assistance accessing my account and resolving the additional charges related to the background check.

I have sent messages and spoken to customer service representatives on the phone, but each time I was directed to the wrong department. They mentioned they would send a message to the appropriate one, yet my membership cancellation is still pending. When I attempt to cancel via the membership page, an error screen appears every time. This ongoing struggle to cancel for the past 6 months is frustrating. I am adamant about it being canceled immediately to avoid any further charges. I'm having trouble accessing my Care account. Upon returning home from work, I discovered an email from the Care team stating that my account has been closed at my request. I am experiencing difficulties with my Care.com account created with the email [redacted] several years ago. Despite various attempts to sign in and cancel the account, I have been unable to access it successfully. The password reset link sent to me did not work, and subsequent reset attempts are now stating my email address is invalid, even though I have received emails at that address in the past. I am being asked to pay for a background check and my account has been locked until I make the payment. I paid $59.00 for this on 4-13-[redacted]. This requirement is new and has never been asked of me during my years with the company until now. I recently paid my $18.99 membership fee on 8-8-22, and now they are requesting more money. I am not willing to pay for this additional cost given that I have already completed a background check this year. It is unfair. I am requesting for my account to be unlocked as I have not received any job opportunities since April. I have been a member since around [redacted] and have referred friends and clients to the service, who have not been asked to do the same. I recently created an account on care.com and was billed for a monthly subscription. While attempting to complete the background check form, I encountered an error stating my SSN was incorrect, even though I am certain it was accurate. I attempted to seek help through the help center but was prompted to log in, only to be redirected to the same faulty background check form. Now, after numerous login attempts, I am locked out of my account due to alleged incorrect email or password. Phone support was unfruitful as it directed me back to the unhelpful help center. I am facing issues logging into my Recruiting account on care.com as my password is not being accepted. Despite multiple attempts, I couldn't log in, so I went ahead and tried to reset my password. However, I didn't receive the password reset email. I attempted this process a few times, but to no avail. The message on the page mentioned that if my email address is in their records, I should receive the reset email. Considering I recently made a payment with my credit card, indicating my account is active, I find it odd that I can't access it. I decided to reach out to care.com through their chat bubble, but to my dismay, accessing help required me to log in with my email and password, which led me back to the same login issue. It feels like a frustrating loop!

I was employed by a family who used care.com's payment center to pay me. It has been five days, and I still have not received my wages. Care.com claims the funds could not be transferred. This is the second year I've had to reach out regarding being charged for a canceled account. I never intended to have a membership, but after realizing I was charged, I tried the service and promptly canceled. Now, I've been billed for a third time even though I cannot access my account. I've attempted to contact Care.Com through their provided methods without success. It's frustrating to continue being charged for a service I haven't used or been able to access. I hope this issue can be resolved promptly as I made it clear I cannot access my account to manage these unwanted charges. It's disappointing that despite my efforts, the problem persists without any assistance from Care.Com.

I am having trouble deleting my care.com account. I attempted to sign up, but the verification process did not work. Unfortunately, I encountered a loop of refreshing pages, making it impossible to cancel my account to avoid charges. The live help requires logging in, leading me back to the same issue. Contacting customer service by phone was also unhelpful as it redirected me to my account. It's frustrating not being able to connect with them without login credentials. Care.com should improve their system for easier use. I request they delete my account and refund any charges for premium membership. Thank you for assisting me with this issue.

I recently received an email from care.com stating that my account has been reported and access has been suspended. I've been using care.com for years without any issues until I took on a job from a client on the platform. After a week of working for this client, I decided to end the employment for various reasons. Shortly after resigning, my account was disabled without explanation. Despite numerous attempts to contact care.com for clarification, I have been unable to reach a real person as I no longer have access to my account. I suspect the client I stopped working for may have reported me due to our disagreement. I need care.com to provide me with details on why my account was deactivated and who had the authority to do so without justification, especially since I've paid for a yearly membership.

I paid $[redacted] for a background check and first month's service two weeks ago. I've been unable to access the site to apply for a job despite following all troubleshooting steps. Even with assistance from my daughter-in-law and sister, the issue persists. When requesting to speak with a supervisor, I was told one wasn't available, and later received a message denying a refund. I plan to contact the Better Business Bureau for resolution. I am concerned they may attempt further unauthorized charges. This situation is frustrating and appears dishonest, akin to theft, as no services have been rendered.

I won't pay to discuss this since it's not my problem, but rather your client's issue.
