I am unable to send $1 as I do not have a debit card to speak with a computer technician. Hello, I am struggling to access my account. I thought I canceled our subscription and account, but my recent credit card statement shows we have been charged for the past 4+ months due to the cancellation not going through. I tried to reach out through the "contact us" links, but they all require a login, which I can't do. The email linked to the Recruiting account was [redacted], but we no longer have access to it. I made an error unintentionally when I and a friend opened a joint account on care.com to find a pet sitter. Our plan to share the account did not work, so we canceled it. I was informed that I could reuse the same email for a new solo account. However, when I tried to create a new account with the same email but just in my name, the system would not allow me to complete the application. Despite reaching out for assistance and trying multiple times, I was unable to proceed due to the system not recognizing my situation. I am not trying to violate any rules but simply want to access the services offered by care.com to care for my pets. I would appreciate it if someone could assist me in resolving this issue and accommodate my request. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Last September, I hired one of your caregivers who caused a fire in my home, resulting in the death of my pet hedgehog. I awoke at 4:30am to the smell of smoke and found a spare bedroom carpet ablaze due to a knocked-over heating lamp. The caregiver, L.G., was the last person in the room and attempted to shift the blame onto me. She acted untrustworthy and dangerous, even hanging up on my private investigator when questioned about the incident. Despite being a stroke survivor, she showed little regard for my safety. I've been using care.com for years for babysitting, tutoring, and pet sitting services. I recently updated my pet sitting profile to indicate it as a business inadvertently, not following the guidelines properly. I do not have a business for tutoring and babysitting, just offering these services individually. Unfortunately, my entire account got suspended before I could rectify the pet sitting profile. I would like to have my account reinstated as an individual service provider, not a business. I'm willing to adjust my pet sitting profile or remove the service to comply with the guidelines. I've already paid for three months and completed the necessary background check. Please reopen my account as an individual provider.

I am facing significant frustration with this company. I had downloaded Care.com at the start of [redacted] to search for a nannying job. Surprisingly, I was charged twice for a background check even though my profile was never activated. Despite providing my correct social security number, the system would not let me proceed, claiming it could not be found. I reluctantly overlooked the issue. To my dismay, I discovered a $16 charge from Apple on my recent bank statement, traced back to Care.com for a subscription I allegedly have. How am I subscribed when I can't even access my account? I refuse to be taken advantage of by this company again and expect prompt resolution.

I recently signed up for Care.com to market my services, not to hire or be hired as a caregiver, but I was charged $[redacted] for it. Additionally, I was charged $79 for a recruitment service that I did not intend to continue. I attempted to create an account on Care.com using the email [redacted] Upon submitting my information, I received a message stating that I couldn't create an account without any explanation. I tried again using a different email with the same correct information, only to encounter the same issue. Surprisingly, I noticed two charges of $18.99 each from Care.com on my bank statement. I was under the impression that my account wouldn't be charged until it was verified. Despite the charges, I cannot access any accounts associated with these emails. I am seeking a refund for both transactions or a refund for one transaction and assistance in opening the other account so I can utilize the platform.

Hello, I have been a member of Care.com for many years. I recently upgraded my account and tried to update my address, rate of pay, and availability. I have two telephone interviews scheduled for tomorrow. To my surprise, I received emails saying I was removed from Care.com. This news deeply upset me. I'm not sure why I was removed and it's distressing to be seen as a risk. My name is Leslie K. Rice, also known as Kelly. The last job I got from Care.com was in [redacted] with Chris & Britney Melvin, whom I still have a good relationship with. I am puzzled as to what went wrong. I had some difficulty navigating the updates. I hold Trustline approval, CPR certification, First Aid training, a driver's license, a car, and I am vaccinated and boosted. I am disappointed by the unethical practices of your company. I signed up as a housekeeper with a clean background check from the Las Vegas Police Dept. Your company still asked me to pay for another check, which was deducted from my bank account - $29.66 in total. Despite this, my applications are still pending. I demand that my account be deleted and money refunded. I will take this matter to the BBB and warn others on social media. I will also file a fraud claim with my bank. It has been a month since I lost access to Care.com services due to a "PENDING APPROVAL STATUS" on my account. The last representative, Evelyn, responded to me on January 28 as follows: "Hi Aida, Thank you for getting in touch and bringing this to our attention. I apologize for the delay in responding, as we are currently experiencing higher volumes than usual. I am here to help you now. We understand the inconvenience you are facing with this technical issue. Rest assured, we are actively working on a solution and will notify you via email once it is resolved. Hello, I have reached out multiple times but have not received any replies. It has been several weeks, and my annual care check is still pending approval. I have been using this app for years, and nothing has changed in my background check. I need to communicate with my clients urgently, but my messages are restricted. I kindly request assistance in expediting the approval of my care check on care.com so I can continue working.

I have been struggling to cancel my Care.com account for several months now, to no avail. With my child enrolled in daycare for the past four months, I have been trying unsuccessfully to end my membership. Every time I try to log in to terminate the service, the webpage keeps redirecting me, showing an error message, and never loads. This issue persists across different devices and platforms. Despite sending multiple emails requesting help, I have not received any response. When calling customer service, I am directed to send an email inquiry, which I have done without success. I am currently applying for an apartment and am in need of assistance with cleaning and transportation. I am unwilling to pay out of pocket for these services, as I believe the government should provide workers for this. For over a year, I have been searching for a senior apartment for my low-income self without success. The house I am currently renting is in a dire state, with a collapsing ceiling, rotten porch, faulty electrical wiring causing light bulbs to burst, and multiple appliances damaged. The bathroom lacks safety features like handlebars, one bedroom's floor remains constantly wet, and there is a large hole in a closet leading outside under the house. The extreme temperature variations in that room attract mosquitoes, making it uncomfortable. After speaking with the homeowner, who refuses to address these issues, I am desperate to move back to Lake Charles, Louisiana, after being displaced by Hurricane Laura in August [redacted]. I would like to cancel my subscription with your service as I struggle to find suitable housing and cannot afford house cleaning on my limited income. I urgently need to find a new place soon.

Hello, I contacted you yesterday and have not received a response yet. Two days ago, I signed up for a care.com account with the intention of paying the monthly membership fee. However, during the process, I decided not to proceed as I no longer wished to be a member. Despite this, I paid for a background check that I did not use as I did not complete setting up my account. As a result, I am unable to cancel the subscription myself. Could you kindly assist in canceling my subscription and refunding the $5 I paid for the membership and background check that I did not utilize? It is frustrating to be charged for a service I did not even use. I have tried reaching out to care.com multiple times without receiving any response, which has left me feeling very frustrated.

Hello, I would like to report an issue with our Care.com account. Last summer, we canceled our subscription, but we recently discovered that charges have been continuing monthly since our cancellation. I have two main concerns that I would like assistance with: (1) How can I ensure that when I cancel again, it will be effectively terminated this time? (2) Could you please help us with a refund for the months we were charged after we canceled our account? Although I don't have the exact cancellation date in my emails, we are certain we canceled before August [redacted]. We are eager to resolve this matter and are willing to provide evidence that we have not used our account since the initial cancellation last summer. I closed my account with Care.com on Jan 8, [redacted]. They sent me the following email confirmation: Hi Wendy, Your Care.com account has been closed. Please keep this email as a record. Thank you and for more help, visit our Help Center or Terms of Use. Best wishes, The Care.com Team Despite closing my account, Care.com still charged me on 4/1. Here are the bank details: 04/01/[redacted] POS Debit - Visa Check Card [redacted] - CCI*CARE.COM [redacted] MA POS -$79.81 I have tried emailing and calling Care.com, but can't get through. Customer service asks to log in, then hangs up. Since I can't remember my login, I can't dispute the charge. I have contacted my bank about this issue. Thank you, Wendy B.

While setting up my account, I paid for the background check fee. However, when I entered my age, it indicated that I was too young to create an account. Upon checking, I noticed that the background check fee was deducted. I haven't successfully created an account, so I expect a refund as the payment should not have been processed. I've searched extensively on their website for contact information but couldn't find any details to reach out to them for assistance.
