Dear Care.com, I recently received an email stating that the requester, Gina C. from Chatsworth, CA, would cover the cost of the background check, not me. The email stated: "Gina C. would like to run an Investigative Criminal Plus Check on you. There is no cost to you; all you need to do is approve this request." It's important to resolve this situation promptly. Please refund Gina the $[redacted] she was wrongly charged or refund me the $59.99 that was mistakenly taken from my credit card. Hello, I recently received a message from Care.com regarding the closure of my account due to billing issues. I explained to them that I had lost my debit card and received a new one during which they continued to charge me. I thought we had resolved this by updating my new card information, but now I am unable to access my account again even after attempting to reset my password. As a dedicated caregiver looking for work, it is important for me to have access to my account to find families to work with. I have paid the necessary fees and would appreciate assistance in resolving this matter promptly. I have enjoyed working with great families through the platform and hope to continue providing quality care. I look forward to a swift resolution as this has been an ongoing issue for nearly a month. I spoke with Eric, but he did not provide me with a link to pay the $5 fee. I don't have or use a credit card, so this is not possible for me. I'm in a coffee shop using a shared network because I don't have internet at home. As a senior who is deaf with limited computer skills, I can't hear on the phone and rely on relay services. I opened an account out of curiosity with care, but I won't use it. I just want to delete and close my account for good. Can someone assist me with this, please?

I'm experiencing trouble accessing my Care.com account. The system claims my password was changed, although I didn't make any changes, and it states my email doesn't exist when I try to reset the password. I have noticed that Care.com has been deducting $48 from my checking account each month since around June [redacted]. Despite signing up for a trial, I was not informed on their website about the need to cancel or continue being charged. Upon realizing this, I promptly cancelled and requested a refund. I have not used their services after the trial period, only attempting to find their contact information. Unfortunately, I discovered they do not provide a phone number or address on their site. While I may have missed these charges on my statements, I have been a full-time caregiver for my elderly, disabled mother prior to seeking help. This situation feels fraudulent and unfair, preying on unsuspecting individuals. Now that I am no longer taking care of my mother, I am addressing my accounts. I believe Care.com owes me $[redacted]. I am eager to know when I can expect reimbursement.

I've been attempting to cancel my subscription multiple times, but I'm having difficulty understanding the exact steps. I navigated to the account information & settings section and clicked on the red button labeled myAccount.cancelDowngradeCta.provider.promo.buttonText. However, after selecting "No Thanks" since I do not wish to retain my benefits, nothing occurs. It seems like I will still be charged tomorrow. Can you please assist me in canceling my subscription? It seems that there are numerous others facing the same problem.

I am struggling to get in touch with care.com regarding an inaccurate review posted about me. The review claims I am unreliable and unpunctual due to an incident where I tripped and got injured. The homeowner has been harassing me about the accident insisting that I am suing them, which is not the case. This person's review on care.com is damaging my reputation unfairly. I have a clean background and am an educator. Despite providing correct information such as my valid contact details and address, they repeatedly close my account. As a care seeker and potential provider, this situation is frustrating. I have been attempting to sign up as a care provider for a week now to secure summer employment. Although I had a smooth experience with Care.com previously, my provider account was terminated within a day without justification. They have not communicated any reasons or offered solutions. When trying to create a new account with a different email, I encounter a barrier at the phone number stage; the page fails to proceed after I click "submit." I am reaching out because finding housekeeping jobs this summer is crucial for my financial stability. Unable to speak to a representative by phone and with my accounts being repeatedly closed, I cannot upgrade to premium membership, which I had paid for before the termination, to access live chat support. I am writing to express my deep disappointment with care.com. On April 13, [redacted], I was billed $[redacted] for a one-year membership that included criminal and DMV background checks. Today, April 19, [redacted], I was charged an additional $59 for an individual background check. Despite sending multiple messages to potential caregivers, I received delayed responses or no replies at all. This was unacceptable as we urgently needed a caregiver and had to resort to an expensive agency due to the lack of responses. I have been a member since [redacted] and have invested a significant amount of money in your services. I insist on an immediate refund of the $[redacted] fee as it was rendered useless by the lack of candidate responses, which I believe was a result of issues with your system. I recently applied to care.com, but my information was rejected due to recent changes like my name and address. I had issues verifying my Social Security details, and care.com mentioned I wouldn't be charged the monthly fee. However, I was still charged $4.99 even though I haven't created a profile or used the account. I am seeking a refund for this charge. Care.com's refund policy mentions requesting a refund within 30 days of the charge and that the charges should not be older than 30 days. I'm currently trying to create an account on care.com for caregiving roles but I'm facing an issue with the background check process. The system requests middle names to be between two and twenty-five characters, while my legal middle name consists of only one letter. As per my official documents, my middle name is indicated as "[my first name] X [my last name]," although "X" is not my true middle name. This discrepancy is preventing me from progressing with my account setup and accessing the website. Hello, I work as a nanny for a family in Scottsdale, Arizona, and I am facing challenges with how they treat me. Despite my efforts to address the issues, they often shift the blame onto me. I would like to cancel my account on care.com and remove my credit card information. The instructions provided by Get Human on how to reach a customer service representative and close the account are incorrect. There is no option to close the account under the Membership Info tab, only details about my active membership, billing date, and membership type. I would like to fully close my account, not just downgrade my membership. I have tried calling the customer service number and following the prompts, but it leads to a dead end before connecting me to someone. I need to ensure that I am not billed for another month starting June 1, so I am trying to resolve this as soon as possible. It is frustrating that there is no way to contact the vendor through phone or email, and I will not be recommending this service to others.

I recently signed up for a care.com account to find a caregiver, but encountered difficulties once applicants applied. Last year, I reported a difficult client, and the situation escalated when she provided false information which led to a lawsuit against me. Despite winning the case, my care.com page was revoked after 6 successful years. The judge even suggested she seek mental help. I feel unsupported and mistreated by the system as I could have counter-sued for damages. Please reinstate my care.com page as I was the victim in this situation. I have been trying to reach out to someone at care.com several times. There are false reviews posted under my profile which are affecting my credibility. The last two reviews, supposedly from Cameron B and Alicia B, are actually my children's names. I suspect the reviewer got their names from my Facebook profile. This situation has significantly lowered my overall rating. I had already informed care.com about this issue before Patrick M's review was posted. I am in urgent need of assistance to rectify this matter.
