I was hired by a family who only needed me three mornings a week with the understanding that I needed to secure an an afternoon position to supplement my income. I was to start in January. I was only being offered full time positions so I notified her in November that I would not be able to take her position. She wrote a very derogatory review on Care advising other families not to hire me! Then I took one of the full time positions I was offered but then unfortunately a week before I was to start I saw my doctor who was sending me to an oncologist with what may be cancer. I notified that family that I wasn’t comfortable taking a job at this time since I don’t know what I may be facing. Then she wrote a derogatory review and I was shocked! Then last night I was notified that my account had been closed by Care! I have had many positive experiences with families I’ve actually worked for over the years on Care and now if or when I can return to work I will be unable to access my account plus they sent out notices to everyone I’ve had contact with which is extremely embarrassing.*Do I have an chance to defend myself since I’ve been a high demand nanny for almost ** years. Please advise.
