A dentist recemented a crown of a front tooth - it fell out the same night. I contacted the dental office the same night. The following day, I spoke with the head dentist, who promised someone would call me the following day. That did not happen. They submitted a bill to CareCredit for $***.**. Infuriated, I contacted CareCredit by phone and was told my claim would go before their dispute board and would be called after a decision was reached. I never received a call back. Instead, I received a letter stating that they were siding with the dental office,*based on a letter written by their executive, manager so fraught with inaccuracies and lies, that I immediately, challenged it via snail mail to CareCredit. Aside from that, most important - justification for the charge was not addressed! The letter to CareCredit included a photo of the cracked front tooth, along with a photo of my mouth with the missing front tooth. (Correspondence available upon request). The theme which reverberated throughout the correspondence was -' Asking me to pay for their mistake(s) was unacceptable!' Nevertheless, in spite of all the above, I received a letter from Care Credit that I would still be required to make a minimum payment, with penalties if not received. After all the smokes clears, the intent of this email is to 'freeze this requirement until the matter is settled.'**J.J. Poveromo *****
