Help with my CarFax issue
The issue in GetHuman-meganbri's own words
Bought a car from a dealer who claimed they were carfax certified. The car we bought from them broke down a day after driving it off the lot. The dealer lied about the car saying it was in good condition, but after taking it to our mechanic we soon found out it needed thousands in repairs. The dealer offered to pay for it to be fixed but we decided we just wanted a full refund. He agreed he’d refund most of it but not all of it. He’s claiming he already spent $*** towards the state for taxes and registration. We’ve considered taking legal action but our lawyer requires the original listing that was put on carfax. We do not have a copy of that. Is it possible to receive a picture of the original listing?
GetHuman-meganbri did not yet indicate what CarFax should do to make this right.
