I had A Capital one card and, I had been calling them keeping them updated and I also called during pandemic and they said, they where going to get back to me as they where going to be making a decision on what they where going to do to take some of the burden off on customers?*I received A call * months ago from a representative from Credit One from A representative who was very very rude and wanted me to agree to A pay off and I declined as, I only owed $**.** but had been in contact and was told, just keep in touch and do what you can as, I told them I had been in and out of hospital with Covid ** for * months. I hadn't heard from anybody in about a month so, I contacted then on **********. I asked to speak to A head representative like I always do because, I had done my credit check and they where non there???? I explained to the gentleman why I was calling and, how I had looked at my credit? He was truly very sorry and I could hear it in his voice when he told me... I had been sold to a collection agency and now owed almost $***.**, he said it was " OUTBOUND" I asked what that was and he said, that is when, if they cant get payment from me, they sell my claim to collection? I said really, your office has tacked on $***.** to my amount owing after keeping you posted as to why I hadn't paid, "HOSPITAL FOR COVID?" he kept saying, Mam I am truly sorry from the bottom of my heart! I told him to put a note in my file that they would be sued for messing up my credit when I had only $**.** I owed and I promised to pay when I got home from hospital. He put me in touch with his lead, I explained to her what happened and she said, the regular office was closed due to it being after **** P.M, however she would talk to them in the morning and get back to me? again it is *:** P.M and nobody called? This is how they have continually treated me and now put my bill to $***.** due to fees and I have no card? If this isn't settled I will go after them some how with a attorney and governor as per Covid **. please someone reach me at *** *** *****Thank you, Sharon Larson
