I recently noticed a charge on my Capital One Mastercard statement from last October that I had already paid, but Capital One insists the charge is accurate. This has resulted in me paying extra for a hotel charge, exceeding the original amount by almost $[redacted]. This is not the first time this has happened; previously, I was out $4,[redacted] due to fraud that Capital One failed to acknowledge. If Capital One wishes to resolve this, they should refund both the $4,[redacted] and the recent $[redacted] charges. I am considering closing my Capital One account due to these issues. In contrast, my VISA card provider acknowledged fraud in the past and forgave a similar charge, earning my loyalty. Capital One can improve their customer service significantly.

I have tried multiple times to obtain a statement without success. I will not pay any late fees until I get the statement. I prefer not to make payments over the phone for security reasons. Despite making four calls requesting the statement in the past month, I have yet to receive it. Please send the statement to the address provided. Thank you, James F. Today, I was informed of late charges due to non-payment, which was caused by not receiving a statement.

The Capitol One Fraud Department contacted my husband claiming AirBnB tried to charge my expired card while I was in Greece. The Department mistakenly believed my credit card was expired (expiration date 09/24) and cancelled it, causing me stress during my travel back to the USA. Fortunately, my local bank debit card saved the day, but this error should not occur again in the future.

I bought a gift for around $[redacted] at Lord and Taylor and opened a new account. Despite never receiving my new credit card or a bill, I got a bill today with a late fee and interest. After speaking with four individuals, including a Sr. Acct. Rep, for over an hour, they explained an address mistake led to me not getting the card or bill. I questioned what compensation I could get for the inconvenience caused by their error. Despite being a loyal customer spending thousands at L&T for over 20 years through AMX, the previous reps focused only on payment dates and card receipt. I recently received a FedEx card about four or five days ago, just as I started having issues with bots on my Chromebook and Google Pixel phone. Both devices rely on the internet for connectivity, so I couldn't even make an internet call, let alone a phone call. My VPN got disconnected and I need the exact day and card number I used to pay for NordVPN in May [redacted] to reconnect. I believe I have been a victim of a scam. Please do not authorize any charges on this card until further notice. I contacted Walmart customer service regarding an email I received today falsely stating that my package had arrived. When I called to inquire about it, I discovered that the package was not due for another week. I was directed to follow instructions online and subsequently transferred to another website where an individual named David, who had an Indian accent, claimed there was a virus issue complicating things. He promised a refund and to reorder for me. After realizing something was wrong, I gathered information to report to the authorities, whom I can't reach until Monday. The scammers utilized Western Union and Amazon in their scheme, obtaining my information through Amazon. Please contact me at [redacted], B.
