I am Jaya, a 72-year-old customer of Capital One for the past 20 years. I have always received good service from them. Recently, when I tried to purchase a ticket from India to the US, they placed a hold on my account. After contacting them multiple times over a couple of days and providing a scanned copy of my passport since I don't have a driver's license, my account is still restricted. I am very disappointed with the lack of proper assistance. Now they are telling me that I need to renew my license in the US to be able to use my card. I am seeking help to have the restrictions lifted on my account.

I have been trying to make a payment to Capital One for over a week now. The new security measures require sending a code to update my contact numbers, which are outdated in the system. After calling the provided number, I was informed that my card number was not recognized. Even after speaking to a representative, they were unable to update my account information and disconnected the call while transferring me to a specialist. All I want is for Capital One to process my payment, but due to the obstacles with the new security process and their inefficiency, my payment is now late.

I am displeased with the recent transaction from APEX FOOTWORKS. My account balance was incorrectly deducted by $50 due to a system glitch. I had plans for the $72 that is now missing. Despite receiving an email notification regarding the issue, I am frustrated with this error, especially since I am currently unemployed. I demand the return of my money promptly. A previous refund was processed successfully, and I expect the same for this situation. It is unfair to have my funds deducted without justification, impacting me negatively during this time. I urge APEX FOOTWORKS to rectify this situation and return the $72 to my account immediately.

I recently received my new credit card and called to activate it. However, I was unable to use it due to being listed as an authorized user on another account. Following this issue, I sought advice from my attorney who mentioned my right to know the individual who added me to their account. I am now curious to find out the identity of this person.

I am a non-Capital One customer who signed up for CreditWise. I carefully noted my User ID and password. Initially, everything was fine. However, now I am unable to log in as I receive an error message. When trying to get a temporary password via text, it proves to be difficult. There isn't an option to receive an email for account recovery. Additionally, I tried calling for help but my phone number is deemed invalid. The lack of customer support information on their website is frustrating. This experience has been disappointing, and it has caused me to lose trust in Capital One's services. I attempted to contact them before but gave up after a long wait time. Resetting my account has been unsuccessful as my phone number is being rejected, even though it's been active with Verizon for years. It's concerning that Capital One makes it so challenging to reach out for assistance.

I believe I fell victim to a scam while trying to log into a website. I received a message claiming my system was compromised, prompting me to contact a number. I regrettably did so, and they charged me $[redacted].99 to clean my computer. I provided my credit card details, inadvertently agreeing to their services. I suspect they created the website issue. Is there a way to dispute this charge? I have already reported my credit card as lost or stolen and a new one is on the way to prevent any additional charges from being transferred.

This morning, I attempted to make a credit card payment but encountered issues with signing in after checking the "remember me" box a few days ago. Upon receiving a message about a different login attempt, I contacted customer service. The automated system prompted me to enter "1" before proceeding, however, the input did not register. Due to security concerns, I avoid saving bank logins. Eventually, a representative assisted me in processing my credit card payment. Hello, Please redirect this issue to the appropriate department as I am unable to receive text messages on my prepaid phone while I am outside of the USA. I have been unsuccessful in logging into my Capital One account even after multiple attempts. While overseas, I tried to receive an alert on the Capital One phone app, but clicking "OK" did not yield any results. I am currently in Dubai and cannot use my U.S. phone number. I would appreciate it if there is an alternative verification method such as email or security questions to access my account. The code for collect calls from the UAE does not seem to be working. Several years ago, Capital One closed my credit card with the last four digits [redacted]. Recently, I received a Form [redacted] from Capital One indicating $3,[redacted].87 as income for tax purposes. After this, I was contacted by a debt collector, LVNV Funding LLC, demanding payment for the debt that Capital One had cancelled. Under Pennsylvania law, cancelled debts are not typically pursued for collection. I would appreciate it if Capital One could confirm in writing or by email ([redacted]) that they cancelled the debt associated with account [redacted] and issued me the appropriate [redacted], which I can provide to LVNV Funding LLC. I am concerned about the negative impact on my credit score due to this erroneous claim by LVNV Funding and would like to resolve this issue without legal action. You can reach me at [redacted].

Several years ago, Capital One terminated my credit card account ending in [redacted]. Recently, I obtained a federal Form [redacted] from them for $[redacted].23, which I had to report on my federal taxes. Despite Capital One canceling the debt, their debt-collection subsidiary Credit Control, LLC, is now pursuing repayment. According to Pennsylvania law, cancelled debts are noncollectable. I am requesting written or email confirmation from Capital One (at [redacted]) that the debt for the account ending in [redacted] was indeed cancelled, which I can provide to Credit Control, LLC. Their unjust claim is negatively affecting my credit, and I hope to avoid legal action. For verification purposes, I can be reached at [redacted]. I am eager to resolve this issue and clear the false debt claim from my credit record. I am unsure why the payment is still pending, possibly due to issues during handling. To whom it may concern, I submitted the required [redacted]-T document for CASE [redacted][redacted] to [redacted] I was informed that a new DocuSign [redacted]-T form would be sent by Capital One, but I have not received it even after almost a month. I was informed that my original submission had an error on line 9, but DocuSign does not allow for edits once submitted. I previously sent an email with the corrected Form [redacted]-T attached. By 02/27/[redacted], all necessary investigative documents should have been received. Despite being approved for a Credit Card and experiencing a credit ding for it, I have not yet received the card. I have made several calls and spoken to representatives, but have received minimal assistance regarding this matter. As my wife and I file taxes jointly, I have included her name on the form. I made a payment of $50 on Feb 6, 20 for my Quicksilver credit card with the account ending in [redacted], which has a $25 minimum payment. Despite paying early, on Feb 8, 20, I was charged an additional $25 and marked as late. I am disappointed by this error in the app and would appreciate a human correcting it or an improvement on the system to prevent such issues. I value my relationship and loyalty to the company, so I kindly ask for the negative report on my credit to be reversed. I attempted to transfer a balance online, but due to not having a smartphone for receiving a security code, the process failed. Even trying on the phone was frustrating and unsuccessful. I faced challenges with understanding the associates due to their accent and line static. I appreciate the security measures but if it only relies on smartphone communication, it excludes customers without such technology. This results in an unpleasant experience, making me consider canceling my card. The quality of service is lacking compared to my other credit cards. I prefer customer service assistance from the country I reside in as they are more adept at solving issues. The current situation makes it seem like offering a balance transfer was a setup for failure.

I was charged twice $75 each from my autopay for my monthly credit card payment. The payment was set up for 02-28-20 for $75, but an additional $75 was also withdrawn on 03-03-20. I have screenshots of my Capital One account statement as proof. I would like the second payment refunded back to my bank account or applied to the next payment due on March 28th. Thank you, - C.

Hello, I attempted to make a payment on my account on the 7th of March using account number 5[redacted] 0[redacted]. Unfortunately, the advisor couldn't process the payment due to an issue with the card, even though there were sufficient funds in the account. Please refrain from charging any late payment fees as I explained to the advisor that there was money available on the card. Dear Capital One, I am currently facing financial difficulties and am aware of being behind on my monthly payments. I plan to start making monthly payments in April, although I am unable to pay off the arrears at this time. I intend to pay more than the minimum amount on a monthly basis. A few years ago, I was in a similar situation and had a negative experience with your call center, which is why I prefer not to deal with them.
