To the Concerned Party: I recently had an issue with your system failing to flag and inform me about a duplicate charge for my monthly medical insurance payment made through my Capital One Mastercard. The duplicate charge was due to the medical insurance company's website being down, and I made an additional payment later, assuming it was the only one going through. Upon speaking with a Capital One representative, they acknowledged the oversight and mentioned that their system typically catches these errors but missed it in this instance. I urge you to enhance your system to prevent such occurrences in the future. I expect the matter to be resolved once the medical insurance company rectifies the duplicate payment. It's disappointing that I have to rely on the insurance company to fix this, and I may need to pursue a disputed charge claim if they don't address it promptly. These situations consume valuable time and need to be avoided. Improve your system to detect and notify users of all duplicate charges promptly to prevent such inconveniences. Best regards, R. Mutchnik

In light of the recent major data breach at Capital One bank due to hackers, I urge you to consider a new Information Security system that is globally needed today. This innovative system is based on three fundamental concepts: an Alphanumeric Text Encryptor, a Multi-Optional Encryption System, and a Non-Informatic Language for Data Processing through Encryption. It goes beyond traditional encryption by offering various encryption options and protection levels. If you provide me with an email, I can send you material to familiarize you with this advanced Information Security system. I am here to address any inquiries you may have.

I previously spoke to an agent by phone regarding this issue, but it remains unresolved. I made an online purchase and had to sign up for PayPal using my card. After receiving the item, I unexpectedly started getting more of the product that I did not order. My account was charged an additional $86.80 for each of the extra items that arrived. Despite receiving multiple packages, I only intended to buy one item. Despite our efforts to reach out to the seller, the only contact we found was a phone number where I left a message without a response. Consequently, my account was charged a total of $[redacted].40 for unordered items. It is frustrating to be charged for items I never asked for and cannot find a way to return. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I tried to update my phone number on my Capital One credit card, first with a Skype number, then a Google Voice number, and recently with a Ting number. None of these were accepted. I am now looking for a cost-effective phone service provider that Capital One will accept. I have already paid for my Skype and Ting numbers, while Google Voice is free. I am seeking information on prepaid or non-contract phone services that Capital One will allow. I've searched online but haven't found any details. I am hoping to correct this by updating my phone number on my account. Thank you for your help.

I missed a payment on my Capital One balance by 3 days and was charged a £12 late fee, which I understand and accept as my mistake. However, I am puzzled by an additional £11.53 interest charge on my statement. When I contacted Capital One, Sonali agreed to remove the interest charge as a goodwill gesture and assured me that no further interest would be applied as long as I clear my balance in full. Although I requested written confirmation, she mentioned it would reflect on my online account. Despite this, the interest charge still appears on my account. I seek confirmation from Capital One that this issue is resolved. Additionally, in light of the time spent addressing this matter, I kindly request the late fee to be waived as a goodwill gesture.

Hello, I am currently in New York and took a photograph while sitting in a bar during the rain. The photo captured Capital One illuminated through the rain. I have a passion for photography and marketing, and I think this image could be a great idea for promotional use. If you would like me to email it to you for consideration, please let me know. I am enthusiastic about sharing it as a representation of "Saving for a Rainy Day!" I plan to frame it for myself, but I am open to discussing how it could be used further. Let me know if you are interested in viewing it.

I am facing an issue with a wire transfer from five months ago. I met someone online who sent me the wire, but my account was closed due to suspected fraud. I confronted the person who sent the wire and now my account is frozen. I used the account for direct deposit, and Capital One reported me, leading to my arrest. I have the funds available to repay the wire transfer, but I need help to resolve this situation. Despite having $2,[redacted] in the account, they have not refunded the money, and I received no communication until I was arrested. This experience has been troubling, and I'm seeking assistance to clear my name in court.

Three weeks ago, my Capital One bank account, which I've had since [redacted], was closed due to being overdrawn for an extended period. I was informed that the amount owed was deducted from my direct deposit, and the remaining balance would be sent to me via check. However, it has been over three weeks, and I have not received any further communication or the check from Capital One, aside from a letter confirming the deduction. I am eagerly awaiting the remaining funds and would appreciate any assistance. Thank you, C. Sonnier.

I purchased two tickets for a Giants/Mets game on 4/10/[redacted] from Verified Seats for $[redacted].16. Despite my attempts to communicate with them, the tickets were never delivered, and they provided no resolution. The day before the game, I visited the Mets ticket office to inquire about my tickets in section 25, but they confirmed they had no record of any transaction with Verified Seats. Even though I provided CapitalOne with limited documentation due to the age of the emails, they seem to be siding with the fraudulent company. I am requesting a transcript of CapitalOne's investigation as I intend to take legal action in Small Claims Court. It would be beneficial for CapitalOne investigators to reach out to the Mets ticket office at Citi Field to verify the absence of reservations for me on June 6, [redacted].

I noticed a discrepancy in one of my recent payments that hasn't been reflected in my credit limit. The transaction number for the $[redacted] payment I made on 7/31/19 is F2Z3R7BBBF. Prior to this payment, I made a $[redacted] and another $[redacted] payment which were both returned due to a delay in my bank holding a deposited check. The funds from the check were cleared on 7/31/19 at 9:00 a.m. leading to the $[redacted] payment being returned for NSF earlier that morning. On 8/5/19, I made a $50 payment and the $[redacted] one with transaction number F2Z3R7BBBF should have brought my balance to $[redacted] instead of the current $[redacted]. Now my account is restricted, and I seek to address this issue promptly to reactivate my account, as I have a good payment record with no late payments on any of my credit cards.

I have had a Capital One credit card since [redacted]. Lately, I have been making double payments each month due to the fixed due date on the 28th, which doesn't align with my disability payments at the beginning of the month. In March, I paid for both that month and April, in May for May and June, and also made a payment in July. I haven't paid for August yet. Despite all these payments, my balance hasn't decreased much due to accumulating interest charges. I'm contemplating whether to default on this card and consolidate my debt, as I can't afford to keep making payments without making progress.

To Whom It May Concern, Hello! My name is Robert Tyler Reynolds, and I've been a customer with you for almost two years. I recently applied for a credit line increase, only to be declined with the explanation that credit line increases are not available at this time. Despite my consistent on-time payments and responsible credit behavior, I'm finding my credit usage occasionally affecting my score due to the percentage of my credit line being used. If I make simple purchases like having dinner or buying gas, I quickly exceed 20% usage with a $[redacted] limit. After maintaining responsible credit habits for well over a year with flawless payments, I feel justified in requesting a credit line increase. I'd appreciate a reconsideration of your decision as the alternative would be depositing more to lower my credit usage percentage. Given the lack of clear reasoning provided for denying my request, I'm left considering whether I should seek a credit line increase elsewhere. I kindly request a detailed explanation for the denial of my credit line increase. Thank you for your time and have a great day! Sincerely, Robert Tyler Reynolds

Last week, I encountered an issue with my debit/checking account resulting in it being on hold. Today, when trying to link my banking account to my Capital One credit card to make a payment, I was unable to do so. My bank assured me they would process the $53 payment to Capital One today which was double the minimum due. However, on the due date, the payment has not gone through, leading to a $25 late fee and losing my chance to increase my credit line with 5 on-time payments. The $53 payment is pending in my checking account but has not been posted to my Capital One account. I'm hoping for a one-time courtesy reversal of the late fee due to these unforeseen checking account issues. I appreciate any assistance in resolving this. Thank you, Richard G.

I attempted to transfer $10 from my Capital One Checking [redacted] account to my trading account on Olymp Trade. However, the transaction failed multiple times. The trading platform only permits Visa or Mastercard deposits starting at $10 minimum, and allows for earnings withdrawals back to the same card once it's verified and confirmed as a Visa or Mastercard. This platform is not for gambling, but a licensed and insured trading broker that pays out substantial earnings to investors regularly. After reaching out to customer support, I was informed that my bank declined the transaction. I am unsure why this happened and would like clarification. I am seeking assistance to complete my $10 deposit and begin trading. Additionally, I am interested in learning about potential personal loans from Capital One in case of emergencies and why I am unable to wire money from other accounts using the mobile application.

Dear Forum Members, I recently applied for a Capital One Venture Travel Rewards credit card that has been shipped out. I received an email confirmation from Capital One stating that the card was scheduled to be delivered on August 21st. Here is my mailing address: [redacted] Williams St #G, Tustin, CA [redacted]. I am eagerly awaiting the arrival of my new credit card and would like to know when I can expect it to be delivered. Your prompt assistance in clarifying this matter is greatly appreciated. Thank you, P.B.

I work during the hours that Capital One suggests calling (through their online system). Unfortunately, I have encountered issues with making payments towards my credit card. While my Capital One account displays that the payment has been completed and I have an email confirmation, there was a delay in the payment withdrawal previously, causing a shortfall in funds a week later. Despite making a $[redacted] payment this past Friday, which reflected in the app and email notification, I am concerned about the timing of the actual deduction. I would appreciate if the payment could be withdrawn promptly after I make it to avoid any delays and prevent missed payments in the future. Kindly advise on this matter. Thank you. -A.H.

I had trouble placing an order online as the address wasn't being verified and approved. Despite getting an alert from the Capital One app saying the purchase was approved, the order wouldn't go through. Customer service informed me that the billing address may not match the one on my card due to a simple error like a spelling mistake. I was asked to ensure the billing address is correct and refresh my browser if needed. Although charges didn't go through, I made sure the addresses on the website and my Capital One account matched. When I tried again, I received a "Volume Exceeded" message. After contacting customer service again, I was advised it might be due to multiple attempts in a short time frame. Today, when I tried on a computer, my card was declined, and my Capital One app now shows my account as restricted, despite the addresses matching perfectly.

I am inquiring if I owe any money and the amount, as I heard about a debt with Capital One. I closed most of my cards during my divorce in [redacted]. I recently applied for a debit card and received a substantial grant. I am interested in obtaining a credit card but seem to be facing some obstacles. Can you please assist me in resolving this matter? Best regards, Polly R., PhD Contact me via email: [redacted] I suspect this issue arose during my divorce when I had to relocate. If there is an outstanding debt, I aim to clear it to utilize my grant for purchasing a house, supporting my family with home repairs, and concluding my research.

Hello, I am Dale Zigler, and I recently noticed a hard inquiry made by Capitol One on my credit report on September 1. I am concerned about this inquiry because it was not initiated by me and I am unsure why it was done. I discovered that the associated address is [redacted] Sunnyslope Dr., Martinsville, Indiana, [redacted], which is not where I reside. I am troubled by the fact that this inquiry will impact my credit history for the next two years and even more so by the possibility of my identity being misused. I have attempted to contact Capitol One through various phone numbers without success, as I keep encountering automated messages. I would appreciate it if someone could reach out to me via email at [redacted] to help resolve this issue promptly. Thank you, Dale Zigler
