To whom it may concern,**I, Julissa Pinckney have been a member of Capital One since May ****. Every month I pay off my balances in full. During the month of October, I had an hardship which caused me to miss my monthly payment. **I received a letter stating that a $** late fee was being issued for missing my November *st payment. As soon as this was brought to my attention, I made it my business to call Capital One and state my concerns which were as follows:*****I didn’t realize I missed my minimum payment. (Very apologetic)****I didn’t want this to be reported on my credit report because I pay all my bills on time.****I wanted you guys to know that I take my credit card seriously and was willing to do whatever to make this right.*When I talked to one of your agents, who was very polite* she informed me that if I agree to never miss a payment again I can sign off on some type of forgiveness agreement. I was read my rights and everything that would take place, she said a letter would be sent to me providing details of agreement. This call was placed on Monday, November **, **** between *:** PM est.**I was also told that I was required to pay the minimum balance of $** by December * in order to keep an active account.**Unfortunately, do to my hardships, I had a total of * scheduled payments bounce on my account. As soon as I noticed this, I made a call today, November **, **** stating my concerns again and how I want to pay on my account.**I told the specialist on the phone I can make a payment of $*** on my account at a Capital One Store Location. I wanted to pay in person to avoid anything from bouncing again. It isn’t even December * yet, so I am confused as to why my account was closed on the **th, of November. I have the full balance ready to be paid off so there has to be something that can be done about my closed account.**I have been a loyal customer and have always made my payments in full every single month. I was given a higher credit limit * months into my account which also proves my responsibility.**I am writing this email today to find out how I can get my account reopened. I worked so hard getting this far and I can’t afford to start over. With me making the phone calls and handling my accounts accordingly, I was promised until December * to pay off my minimum $** balance.**I can have my account paid off today, in full, I just need to talk to someone who can help reopen my account.
