Help with my Capital One issue

I was sent an email stating that I got approved for a secured MasterCard and to fund my account now. I made a $*** deposit and got the confirmation on Friday ********. The next day I was sent an email at *:**AM saying that I was denied for the credit card and a letter stating why. I want to know what will happen to my deposit and how to get it back since I won’t have a card nor will I have $*** when Monday morning hits. I’m very concerned as I am a college student and need that money if it is not being used for anything. I need it back ASAP, or I would prefer for it to not be taken out at all.

Called them first thing in the morning and explained the issue. The denial letter was from a different card I had applied for back in August and I was approved for the secured card.
