I needed a trade line for my credit report because I have filed bankruptcy in the past and am trying my best to repair my credit rating.**I was given a credit line of $***. I made EVERY payment on time, never missing a payment. I asked for a credit increase, and was denied. **I did have an issue this year with several payments I made being returned - this was ONLY due to a problem with my bank receiving my direct deposited payroll on time, and after lengthy communication with Capital One's fraud department, that was resolved. I always corrected those payments by resubmitting and again, I never missed a payment. **This past July ****, I connected my American Express Savings account to my Capital One Credit Card account in order to make payments. One recent payment made from this savings account was returned. It was returned because I made that payment while I was unaware of the law governing savings accounts - apparently you cannot make more than * withdrawals per month. As soon I learned that my payment was returned, I again made another. My account was and is still in good standing. **Then I received an odd letter. It said Capital One was closing my account because it wasn't being used correctly. I'm human, so I do make mistakes and when I realize I've made one, I correct it. But I totally disagree with being told that I am not using my account correctly, especially after having it for * years and never missing or paying late. **My family is currently trying to qualify for a home loan. We are only a few points away from getting our pre-approval. But now I have taken a hit to my credit report because Capital One is listed as "Closed by Credit Grantor". **Now I know you have ** million other account holders, likely most of them with much higher balances than me, but I would like to think that you care about us little guys too. **Closing my account was unreasonable and unfair. I pay your monthly service*finance charges and annual fees. I pay my bill on time. It might not matter to you but it matters to my family. **I'd like you to reopen the account. **Thank you for your time,*Kelly Taylor
