Good day, I am writing regarding my Capitol One Venture Credit card ending in *****I enrolled in this card last year and did not realize it carried a membership fee. I saw the charge on the aacout today and called immediately.*I explained that I wanted to either cancel the card or change to a non fee card so that I would have the $** fee refunded or reversed. I was offered to change the account to a Quicksilver account. When the young lady was reviewing the account I said "this will cancel the $** fee, correct". She placed me on hold and eventually returned and said no that it would not. I explained that since you are billing me a year in advance and I have not used the credit card that I felt my account should be credited the $** because I am being billed for a service that I will not receive and from my statements, I did not receive the card until the *st off November **** and should not be charged until next month.*I then told her that if I was not going to receive a refund I would be foolish to change to a lesser account, when you still are charging me for unused services. She said that she had already changed the account but would transfer me to someone who would be able to assist me. I spoke with a gentleman and explained my situation and concerns. He said he would change the account back to the original but it takes *-** days and to be sure to check back.*I actually want you to credit this account with the $** you charged for the upcoming year's service. I would not expect a return of the fee if I had used the card or if we're not during the same billing cycle, but I feel that I am certainly justified in requesting this refund and changing my account to a non member fee account.*I pulled up the summery of this month's account and where it says Fees, it says Fee None*My cell phone is ********** and my email address is *****@***.com.*I would appreciate your assistance as soon as possible.*Sincerely,*Brenda Prosser
