The issue in GetHuman-jenfink's own words
I purchased a Roots winter coat from a corporate clothing vendor through my place of employment. I purchased the coat * *** years ago, $***.**. When I pulled my coat out of the closet in November, ****, I noticed that the zipper wouldn't go up, it was jammed. I brought the coat into my place of employment on November *, **** and gave the coat to our clothing rep to send off for repair. We didn't hear anything about the coat for weeks. On December *, ****, we received an email stating, "the coat is dirty and can not be repaired in this condition." I am a grown woman, I do not play in the snow. The coat is not dirty. It was washed in the spring, hung in a closet and the first time I went to put it on in November, the zipper was botched so it hasn't even been worn this year. Roots advised they would send the coat back for it to be cleaned and returned for repair, what an effing joke. I received the coat back today, ** days after it was sent out for repair. It has been communicated to me that I am to find someone to repair the coat, bring the bill into work and they will reimburse me. This is ridiculous and poor customer service on Root's Canada's behalf. First, the coat should have been returned to me immediately if they weren't going to fix it. Second, now the onus is on me to have it repaired because you guys are stringing me along, likely to annoy me to the point where I say forget it. I've got news for you, that isn't going to happen. Please reach out to me with a proper way to rectify this situation as if you are going to sell coats for $***'s of dollars, the coat should last more than * seasons. Not looking good guys. *Sincerely, a super annoyed customer who may have her coat back by July.
