On January 14, [redacted], our regular mail carrier was absent. The substitute left two pieces of mail in my mailbox at [redacted] Gordon Avenue, West Vancouver, BC V7V 1W1. Neither item was addressed to me, and both were for the wrong address. When I approached the window of her truck and politely pointed out the mistake, she did not respond and stared at me, appearing unable to communicate in English. The encounter left me feeling frustrated with her lack of social skills. It would be beneficial for the postal service to ensure their employees can effectively interact with the public or provide them with the necessary training to do so.

Every winter, I face challenges reaching the community mailboxes due to snow piled up between the sidewalk and the street. Despite the city and a clearing service handling their respective areas, this snow mound is left unaddressed, creating a hazardous obstacle for me with my prosthetic leg. While I've raised this issue with the local postal service annually and they eventually resolve it, it's frustrating that it takes my complaint for action to be taken. It begs the question, why can't they proactively monitor and clear these obstructions? It would be helpful if the mail person could flag issues like this to management, prompting timely solutions. Overall, it's disheartening that such a crucial matter seems to go unnoticed and uncared for.

I relocated from [redacted] Spruce Drive to [redacted] 9A Avenue S, Lethbridge, six months ago. Despite contacting 27 places to update my address, my mail continues to get lost. This issue is causing me to lose important cheques as a freelance writer. My suspicion is that mail may still be going to my old address or being misaddressed to 9th Avenue without the correct "A." I am concerned about how to communicate to the mail carrier that my correct address is 9A Avenue at Balmoral. Even though my name and postal code are on the mail, I worry that the missing "A" causes confusion. I inquired at St. Michael's across the street, but they were unsure if the mail was redirected there. The situation is impacting my income, and I'm unsure how to resolve it. My current address is Yvonne Trainer, [redacted] 9A Avenue S, Lethbridge, Alberta.

I would like to inquire about the rate for sending a registered letter from Newmarket, ON to Santiago, Chile. My journey began with requesting a rate quote and after some challenges getting through the phone system, I finally connected with a helpful agent who provided me with the quote. When my son went to the main post office in Newmarket to send the letter via registered mail, he was informed that the address was not valid. This led me to contact Canada Post to confirm the address and address the misunderstanding at the Newmarket office. Despite facing multiple challenges and long waits, I encountered difficulties getting the necessary help from customer service. Eventually, my son was able to persuade the Canada Post employee to enter the address correctly, resolving the issue. However, the overall experience was frustrating and highlighted a lack of ownership and effective solutions within the system.

I visited Canada Post in person only to find out they had charged me for insurance and entered incorrect information into the system. Now, they cannot locate my package or any reference to me or the recipient without the tracking number. This situation is frustrating as losing a small piece of paper with a tracking number should not result in such chaos. Paying $[redacted] for this kind of service is unbelievable, especially from a huge corporation like Canada Post. It is disappointing that none of the employees can assist in finding the package. Everything should be digitally recorded to avoid issues like this. Frustrated with this experience! From: M. Awad [redacted] Tacom Circle Nepean, Ontario K2G-4R1, Canada Phone: 1-[redacted] -- To: Mr. I. Al-Khoraif [redacted] Umm Kulthum Bint Uqbah Bani Zafar District, Unit No. 5 Al Madinah Al Munawarah 42[redacted] Phone: +[redacted]97

I wish to share a story about a remarkable letter carrier from Kingston, Ontario. As a senior residing at 42 Fergus Street, I encountered an exceptional act of kindness from this individual. Although I do not know the carrier's name, on January 2, [redacted], he demonstrated compassion and assistance beyond his duty. When I stumbled while trying to sign for a registered letter, he promptly offered help, even offering to call an ambulance. Despite my refusal, he ensured my safety and checked on me the next day. His caring gesture left a lasting impact on me, and I believe he deserves recognition for his outstanding service at Canada Post. I am sincerely grateful for his kindness, and I hope he is appreciated for the positivity he brings. Thank you. Brenda M. Vaudry

Regarding the community mailbox at Boss Creek Road V1B [redacted], Box 1 Compartment #15: I reside at [redacted] Boss Creek Road in the new subdivision located east of Vernon on a mountainside. Boss Creek currently has only 6 or 7 households in its early stages. Last autumn, two community mailboxes were set up at Boss Creek circle near the entrance to this new area. I was allocated Compartment #15 in Box 1. Due to the challenges of the mailbox's uphill location and the limited number of residents in Boss Creek, I suspect many compartments are unused. My concern involves the possibility of reassigning a compartment that would offer easier access without necessitating bending down, such as compartments 9, 10, 11, or 12. Compartment #15, positioned near the bottom right of Box 1, presents difficulties for my husband in reaching inside. I understand that numerous requests for changes like this are received, but given the apparent underutilization of many mailboxes, accommodating this adjustment now seems feasible. I recognize the logistical complexities involved but kindly ask for your consideration in granting this request. Thank you for addressing this matter. S.D. On Friday, January 31, [redacted], my Amazon parcel was not delivered by Canada Post. Despite an email stating delivery by Canada Post with tracking number [redacted][redacted], the postman mistakenly delivered the package to a different apartment number in the community mailbox. I inquired at the post office, and the postman confirmed he likely placed it in the wrong box. Thankfully, he located it and delivered it to me today. I wanted to update you as I had filed ticket number [redacted]. The issue has been resolved, but I hope for improved care in parcel delivery by the postmen in the future, ensuring they reach the correct address.

A few months ago, I visited I.D.A Cordova Bay Pharmacy located at [redacted] Cordova Bay Road in Victoria, B.C. V8Y 2K6 intending to fax my prescriptions to Costco Pharmacy in Langford. Previously, I have done this without issue. However, this time I was informed by a clerk that they no longer offer this service to fax prescriptions to other pharmacies. The clerk consulted with the part owner and confirmed this policy change. I am aware that faxing prescriptions can be done at a public service post office outlet. Upon inquiring at a nearby pharmacy in Broadmead Village, I was told that they do fax prescriptions to Costco and other pharmacies. I am left wondering if there may be an underlying reason to discourage me from using Costco Pharmacy and instead choose to use their store. Thank you. - J. Mah

I found a delivery slip in my mailbox for a parcel, but the delivery person did not ring the doorbell or knock. This is problematic because I recently had back surgery and cannot drive. Today, someone drove me to check, but the parcel was not there, causing another inconvenience. Parcel number: [redacted][redacted] Recipient: Jody Eckert Address: [redacted] Rink Avenue, Regina SK Could the parcel be delivered directly to my door instead? I am always home and can show ID or sign for it if needed.

Hello, I have reached out to APC Tracking regarding this matter, but I am unsure if it was the correct contact. I will copy and paste the email here to make sure it reaches the right party. I wanted to inform you that a BoxyCharm parcel containing a Becca foundation in the shade Linen was mistakenly sent to my old address. BoxyCharm suggested contacting the carrier for assistance. The tracking number for this parcel is LX[redacted]91US. The correct shipping address for this item is 5 Havenwood Street, Charlottetown, PEI, C1E 2A2. I would appreciate it if this could be rectified as soon as possible. Thank you for your help.

On Saturday, February 15, at 3:00 pm, while driving north on Deerfoot Trail in Calgary, a cloud of dust and stones suddenly hit my windshield. I witnessed Canada Post truck (unit number [redacted]) causing this debris by hitting the shoulder. Over the next 10+ kilometers, I observed the truck's erratic driving, with speeds between 87 km/hr to [redacted] km/hr, crossing lane lines multiple times. The truck exited McKnight Boulevard, and the young female driver appeared unconcerned about her actions. With my experience driving tractor-trailers, I understand the importance of safe driving, especially with large vehicles. I believe this driver may require additional training or a refresher course. Thank you. Jan K.

I am frustrated by the numerous small packages ordered from Asia that seem to be missing, some dating as far back as last summer [redacted]. I am appalled by the inefficiency of the postal service and the way they handle these situations, resulting in vendors having to refund customers while items are seemingly lost. This ongoing issue is extremely disheartening, leaving customers waiting for over a month for their packages, only to have them not arrive. The lack of resolution and accountability is truly disappointing. The postal service needs to improve their delivery services and address these issues promptly to regain trust and provide better service to Canadians.

I sent a Small Packet Surface International on November 28, [redacted], which has not been received yet. There was an error on the form where the city was missing, but the postal code is correct. The same day, I sent another parcel with a similar issue (no city but correct postal code AND WITH a tracking #). If I give you the tracking number for the second parcel, would that help locate the first parcel? Thank you for looking into this for me.

I made an online purchase on Friday the 21st, anticipating its delivery, but it didn't reach me. Today, I discovered that my item is located at the Petawawa Ontario Canada Post in Shoppers Drug Mart. The issue is I reside in Edmonton, Alberta, making it challenging for me to retrieve it from such a distant location. The tracking number provided is LL[redacted]29CN. I am Bernadette Ballantyne, and my address is [redacted] 79th Street Northwest, Edmonton, Alberta T6K 3W7. I have double-checked and confirmed that my address was correctly provided during the order process. Despite this, the package is in Petawawa. I have an ultimatum that if I do not collect it by tomorrow, it will be returned to the sender. Unfortunately, it is physically impossible for me to reach that location within a day, especially considering the distance between provinces.

Good Morning, I'm reaching out regarding ticket number [redacted] submitted on February 8. The reference number is [redacted][redacted], with the expected resolution date set for February 17. Today's date is February 24. I have not received the resolution information by the promised date. I am seeking answers for the following: 1) I am puzzled as to why the online tracking displayed a delivery notice left on Friday when no such notice was found. 2) No attempt at delivery was made on Friday, evident by the lack of footprints in the fresh snow, and residents being home all day awaiting the package. 3) The delivery notice only appeared in the mailbox on Monday. 4) The package was picked up from the post office on Tuesday, arriving there on the same day as per the clerk. 5) I am questioning why the package was not delivered as scheduled on Friday but rather arrived at the post office the following Tuesday. 6) My assumption is that the delivery person might have updated the tracking prematurely to indicate a paper notice was left on Friday to finish early, expecting no one would notice until Monday. This is not the first issue encountered with Canada Post deliveries. I eagerly await your response. Thank you, Carl M.

I dropped off 2 cheques at our community mailbox on Rovers Street in Red Deer, AB on January 31. One of the recipients, who also lives in Red Deer on Nobel Ave., has not received their cheque yet. The other recipient, who lives in Kelowna, BC, also has not received their cheque. I am concerned about the delivery time as it has been a week and a half, which seems excessive, especially for local mail. Can you provide information on Canada Post's regularity in picking up mail from community mailboxes and the normal delivery time within a region? This is not the first issue I have faced with this mailbox; previously, a package was delivered there without a key for 3 weeks. I am starting to doubt the reliability of our mail system and would appreciate any assistance to restore my faith.

I am disappointed with the recent experience I had with a package I sent to my son from Gibsons, BC to Burnaby, BC for Valentine’s Day. The tracking information showed it was delivered, but my son never received it. I contacted customer service through live chat but was informed later that this option is not available anymore. When I called the post office, they were unable to track the package back far enough to help me. The package contained $45 worth of CDs, chocolates, and a heartfelt card for my son, and it was sent at a cost of over $14 with my venture one card. This situation has been frustrating for me, especially since I have high blood pressure. I am unsure of how to proceed. - AD

I used ExpressPost to send a parcel from Ontario to B.C. on March 4, but it hasn't arrived yet. According to Canada Post tracking, it couldn't be delivered and is being returned to me. I've attempted to talk to a representative, tried the [redacted] number, and even utilized virtual chat with no success. I need the parcel to reach its intended destination, as I've successfully sent items there before. It's time-sensitive and must be both delivered and received by March 12. Thank you.

I paid extra for Priority Post for an online order. Today, no delivery attempt was made. Canada Post informed me that due to the current virus situation, the package won't be brought to my door. However, I see other packages delivered by the same truck, yet mine is undelivered waiting at Shoppers Drug Mart. I am frustrated paying extra for Priority Post when the service is delayed. Can I get a refund for part of the fee since the service I paid for is not provided? Package tracking number: [redacted][redacted].
