Sunday, *-**-**, I went to your restaurant in Northbrook Court in Northbrook, Illinois at about * p.m. to order * barbque chicken salads to go. One was large with everything it comes with except I asked the girl to omit the jicama and cilantro. I also ordered a small one without jicama, cilantro , cheese , black beans and tortilla chips. I asked her to repeat it back and at some point changed something, I do not recall what, but I finally was satisfied with what I was to get. When the order came to the front desk, the small salad had cheese on it. A different girl brought the order so I told her that there was not supposed to be cheese on that salad. I looked at the large salad and could not see if everything was on there as the corn, tomatoes, etc. kind of covered the top plus the dressings were placed on top as well. The girl I originally ordered from came back to the desk and I told her the problem and she kind of huffly said that they made a mistake and they were correcting it. I also asked for a little extra greens since the larger salad certainly did not look like a **.** salad. She brought me the extra greens and the remade small salad. When I opened the salads for dinner, my salad, the small one, was fine. The larger salad had no black beans, no cheese. Also there was very little barbque sauce in the little containers that are placed in the salads. By the way, to me, those containers should be outside the salad, not inside. They take up room where a little more salad could be, plus those containers could be dirty from being stored wherever they keep them. I know most restaurants do that but I do not think it is very sanitary. *We do not bring food in very often for the reason I am writing to you today. There seems to always be a communication problem with the order. This order was over **.** and while we love this salad, when it is not the way we ordered it, it really is not worth it with the aggravation, etc. Unfortunately, my husband has been housebound and expressed his desire for this salad for which I was happy to go get it....but...... Anyway, that is my sad story and I wish that were my only problem...I would be very happy. It's just that it's very frustrating when you look forward to one thing and get something different. As far as getting it resolved, we did eat the salads so I do not seek a refund, but it would be nice to some kind of coupon for the future when we are able to go to the restaurant and enjoy our meal there.
