I made an estimated payment for **** for payment on April *th. **** for the amount of $*,***. On this date the amount of $*,*** was mistakenly taken twice from my bank account. I was directed by an FTB agent to send a specifically worded letter to the FTB which directed the second $*,*** to be applied to the **** tax return. This I did and I subsequently received a check for $*,*** on April **th. approximately. Now, I see that there is no $*,*** applied to **** estimated tax. The only **** estimated is that which was applied from the **** tax return over payment. *Alan Whitehead
