I worked out of state for part of the year and needed to fill out the interstate claims pdf and fax it to ***-***-****. I submitted it on ********** and was told I would receive confirmation by mail within ** business days. It is now ********, and after calling the *** number as well as countless local numbers, I learned that my case has yet to be entered into their system. I was able to reach an agent who could handle interstate claims on the *** number (after being transferred * times), but then was abruptly disconnected. The next day, I tried calling about * times (repeating the *-*-*-ss* steps) and each time after telling me I would be transferred, the recording would say "due to the large volume of calls" we are unable to help you at this moment. WTF
GetHuman-timfea did not yet indicate what California Employment Development Department (EDD) should do to make this right.
