San Clemente branch of dmv neglected to verify Vin when I registered my car at their branch office *********. I had a signed transfer title form from previous owner in AZ. Nobody caught the error that day, as I was given temp registration and and new Ca license plate no was issued. I also received my permanent registration and tags in mail. ** year later( * a couple mos) I realize I never got my renewal from dmv for my registration. I also could not find my vehicle Vin online in the ca dmv website. *I went in to the DMV in Laguna hills on ******* and an agent explained my original title was missing info and my car was never registered in California,despite my paying the fees and receiving the tags, etc.she said San Clemente made this mistake and claim they mailed me my original title (US mail of course).*I never received that parcel, and I drove around all year being none the wiser. *The Laguna hills agent informed I had to do the footwork to acquire a duplicate Arizona title and go from there .*I went on the AZ DMV website , downloaded the duplicate title for,and also called them with questions.they said the title in Arizona was not in my name so there is nothing they can do to help me!*I have an appointment in the San Clemente office on **********. I am dreading what they're going to say. Please, can someone help me ? This is the San Clemente Branch's mistake and I am being punished for it. *Alyson Rogers******@***.com****- ***-**** cell
