The issue in GetHuman-mikejgra's own words
Today at approx. *pm I was at the **** W. Main St. Waterbury,Ct. store to pick-up a RX. I brought a CVS coupon that allowed for $*.*off $**. purchase. In small print there was wording ref: i.e., $*. off $**. purchase. I attempted to check out *$** of additional purchases. The coupons bar code was scanned by my cashier Sherry******** and was not accepted. She stated that "you need to spend $** to get $* off" I pointed out the small print and my understanding of the message. She implied I was wrong and suggested an appeal could me made "up front". I requested a manager at our station and she reluctantly paged one. Kat*Cat arrived shortly and promptly interpreted it the same, dismissively. This happened with a crowd waiting in line. I returned everything except the RX. Dory at the customer service line was very helpful!

GetHuman-mikejgra did not yet indicate what CVS Caremark should do to make this right.
