I am extremely disappointed in the service I received from you. I reached out earlier this week regarding my order and encountered multiple issues. While the seed and butterfly bushes were delivered correctly, the impatiens were not. Although the Post Office claimed they had been delivered, I did not receive them. Furthermore, when the impatiens eventually arrived today via UPS, they were in poor condition - out of their containers, with soil all over and appearing dry. I have watered them and put them back in the containers, but they do not look good. I would like a refund for the price of the plants and shipping, as the butterfly bushes and seeds were fine. I have photos documenting the poor state of the impatiens upon arrival, which I can share with you.

I am Alice Moore, and I placed order #SO[redacted]. Unfortunately, the butterfly weed I received died due to an unexpected cold spell after planting. However, the strawberries I kept indoors fared well once transplanted. I am requesting a replacement for the butterfly weed and would also like to receive the "Ice Ballet" plant. As I understand, the Ice Ballet plant is being sent free of charge, so please include it in the replacement shipment. If necessary, feel free to contact me at [redacted] or [redacted]. You can charge the payment to the credit card on file. Thank you, Alice Moore.

On March 11, [redacted], I sent check #[redacted] for $29.57 for an order of 3 tomato plants advertised as part of a "mix and match" deal. Unfortunately, upon receiving my order from UPS, I found several issues. The package, linked to order SO-[redacted] 87, only contained 2 plants instead of the expected 3. The Sun Gold plant was poorly packaged, with soil spilled and the plant roots exposed. It arrived with wilted yellow leaves and only 3 leaves total. The Steak Sandwich plant also arrived damaged with yellowed leaves and broken branches. Most disappointingly, the Super Sweet [redacted] plant, which was the reason for my order, was missing entirely. Although I usually have no problems when ordering from your company, this time the condition of the plants cannot solely be blamed on UPS. I am requesting a replacement of my order or a refund. I am willing to return the received plants if necessary. Please contact me promptly at [redacted] or foucheydave[at]yahoo.com.

Hello, I recently bought 2 value packs of Bush Blue Lake [redacted] garden bean seeds at a local store. Unfortunately, many of the seeds in the packs appeared underdeveloped, with about a tenth being yellow instead of white, and some were cracked or broken. Even though I trusted Burpee's quality, the germination rate has been poor, with less than a quarter sprouting in nearly 2 weeks. I also had to use Ferry Morris seeds for the last row, which all grew uniformly and healthily. This experience has left me doubting the seed quality from Burpee. The seeds were labeled for [redacted], with a sell-by date of 11/20, Lot 12, and were sourced from the USA. I've been planting garden beans for over 40 years and have never encountered such issues. I hope to hear your thoughts on this matter. Best, N. Hardman

I contacted you about two weeks ago, but I did not receive a response. In March, I placed an order for $[redacted].25. After weeks of no communication, I got a check for $63.05, leaving an $84.20 balance. I received two small packages containing 1 okra and 1 cucumber, along with 9 tomato plants, but without any explanation. Did those items really cost $84.20? If that's the case, I am hesitant to make future purchases from your company, as I have been a loyal customer for years. I did not receive the seeds I ordered, and the two packages I got contained very few seeds. I believe I should have received a larger refund and shipping should have been included. Despite trying to reach out by phone multiple times, I have only encountered recordings. I am dissatisfied with the lack of communication and transparency from your company. Given the current circumstances, I am seeking clarification on why I paid $84.20 for two small seed packets and 9 tomato plants, when they would have cost approximately $22 locally. - Judy C. from Nashville, TN [redacted].

I previously emailed you with photos of the plants and box. On May 4th, I was informed that I could request a refund if the item was not received. I followed up on May 16th about the verbascum plants but received no reply. Unfortunately, my rose bush did not sprout and seems deceased. Do you have the [redacted] Lady of Shalott rose bush available now, or could you refund me for it and two verbascums? I may need to make other gardening plans since it's nearly the end of May. I understand it has been a challenging time for everyone, but as a dedicated gardener, I hope to avoid wasting money. Thank you for your anticipated response and assistance.

I recently bought sweet corn seeds and planted them in a raised bed initially. After transplanting the seedlings into a garden, we noticed each plant had what seemed like additional plants growing on each side of the main stem. This happened to every single corn plant in my garden and my neighbor experienced the same issue with the seedlings I gave them. I have never encountered this before in all my years of gardening. I am curious to know what caused this and if we can still expect a good harvest from these plants. I have a photo of the corn stalk to show this peculiar growth pattern. Thank you for any insights you can provide on this matter. Best, Cinda B.
