I purchased the Brother Luminaire XP1 in late September [redacted]. In early November [redacted], the computer software malfunctioned, displaying only blips on the monitor. After contacting Brother, I was advised to take the machine to Austin's Sewing Center in Louisville, KY for repair. It has now been over two months since the machine has been in repair. Initially, I was informed a part needed to be ordered, then it would have to be sent back to Brother, and later I was told about issues with warranty registration and having to order a box for the return. Frustrated by the delay, my next step may involve hiring an attorney. Having invested in a top-of-the-line sewing machine for home use, it has been unusable for 80% of the time since purchase. I am urging Brother to reach out to me promptly and expedite the shipment of a new machine.

I was able to print to my Brother MFC-L6700DW a couple of days ago. After being away for 2 days, I am now unable to print anything. Incoming faxes are still printing, but I cannot print emails or check registers. I've checked connections, rebooted both the PC and printer, and even tried different USB ports. Driver updates show the latest version installed. Despite my efforts, the problem persists. I urgently need to print paychecks and would appreciate any help. My name is Victor. My Brother MFC [redacted] CDW color printer was working perfectly until I started a color print job and received a Drum Stop notification, indicating that I needed to replace the drum. Since I was out of red toner, I replaced the drum. However, the printer is not recognizing the new red toner drum, and I'm unable to proceed due to this issue.

I'm unsure how to find the model number of my Brother sewing machine that I received as a hand-me-down from a friend. I want to learn how to sew and need help finding the model number to download the manual. It would be great to speak with someone familiar with these machines who can guide me. I bought 3 units around January 5, [redacted], at the North Vancouver store with my brother. While my unit recently indicated it needed toner, the toner package provided was a different model. When I tried to address this at the store, I was met with unhelpful responses about it not appearing on the bill. Despite explaining the situation multiple times, I received no assistance. The salesman who had initially helped us was not present, and the concept of an exchange seemed foreign to the staff. My unit requires a DR [redacted] toner, but I was given a DR630. I am disappointed with the treatment received and will be avoiding the store while that manager is present. I intend to share my negative experience with others who have always had a positive experience at the store until an issue arises, revealing the true customer service values.

I own a Brother HL-2280DW printer that I successfully connected to my WIFI network two years ago for wireless printing throughout my condo. However, last year, despite multiple attempts, I was unable to replicate this wireless connection. This year, I have thoroughly followed the "Quick Start Guide" instructions several times in an effort to establish a wireless connection between my computer and the printer without using a USB cord. Although I receive a "connection OK" message from the printer, I am still unable to print wirelessly. Any guidance on resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.

I recently called the support number provided on Brother's website regarding help with setting up my new printer, the mfc-J497DW. During the 35-minute call, the representative initially seemed helpful but towards the end of the conversation, requested a payment of $[redacted] for one year of assistance, insisting it must be paid by check or money order due to supposed laws they operated under. I was alarmed as I was trying to pay by credit card and it felt like a scam. The voice on the other end sounded like it could be from a person in India. I want to confirm if this is a legitimate interaction from a Brother employee or report it as potential fraud. I am certain I dialed the number provided on Brother's website. Thank you, J W McCallum.

Approximately 60 days ago, I purchased a Brother LaserJet all-in-one printer, model MFCL2710DW from Amazon for my home business. The printer was set up by a professional, and a genuine Brother toner was installed. However, from the beginning, the print quality was faint. I reached out to Brother technical support after a few weeks, and although the representative was friendly, the issue persisted despite following their instructions. Even after trying a second new Brother cartridge and seeking help from another technician, it was determined that there is a problem with the printer. I am requesting a full refund to purchase a different model or a replacement printer.

I recently purchased a Brother CP100x sewing machine on 11/16/20 from Joanns. However, I am having trouble registering it as the model number is not listed on their registration page. The QR code on the manual provides access to helpful resources, but using it for registration does not work either. I am disappointed with the lack of customer service from this company. The live chat is now only a chat bot that leads nowhere, and I spent two hours on hold today without success. Brother should update their registration list to include this model and enhance their customer service. Despite attempts to connect through GetHuman, I was constantly disconnected. I will try again later using a landline instead of my cell.

I am having trouble with my printer. It keeps trying to do two-sided copying, which I didn't request. The printer says there is a paper jam, but I checked the back drawer, and there isn't one. I found that opening and closing the back drawer seems to temporarily fix it, but the issue persists. As a 72-year-old who is not familiar with computers, I prefer not to receive explanations using technical terms. Thank you.

I received the Brother Scan n Cut SDX125e cutting machine today, only to discover it is not compatible with UK power settings. After extensive online research for help, I finally got an email from ScanNCut Europe regarding the issue: Dear Mr. Lovett, The SDX125 model is intended for the American market, operating on [redacted] volts without a CE mark. It is prohibited to use this machine in Europe and send it outside of America. If you purchased this machine from a US online store, it is advisable to return it for a refund. Hello, I am seeking assistance with my HL-L6200DW mono laser printer which has an added tray to accommodate both legal and letter size paper. I am encountering difficulties when trying to print mixed size PDF documents using Adobe on my Macbook Pro. Despite selecting the correct paper source and orientation, the printer only prints letter-sized portions on legal paper, causing the content to be cut off. Even printing legal-sized PDFs separately results in the same issue. Although using page separator links sometimes works, it is time-consuming and not always reliable. I tried printing from an HP laptop to rule out computer issues, but encountered the same problem. I purchased this printer for its ability to handle mixed pages, which is crucial for my job. I have attempted various methods, including the Adobe trick, but without success. As I am starting a new job soon, resolving this issue promptly is essential. I use my sdx125 Scan N cut to design dollhouse furniture, typically using 2mm thick chipboard with great success. Recently, I encountered issues with my cuts being off and received an error message stating the material was too thick. Despite following all cutting suggestions from customer service and trying various methods, the problem persisted. Interestingly, when testing with a basic shape like a scalloped heart, it cut perfectly. However, when cutting my own welded shapes, the errors continued. I'm puzzled as to why the machine struggles with my custom designs but handles basic shapes flawlessly.

I am dissatisfied with the customer service I have received regarding my warranty for a sewing machine I purchased from your company. After experiencing issues with the machine not functioning properly, I was instructed to take it to a service center in September. Upon inspection, the service center identified three reasons causing the malfunction. However, I was informed that it would take up to six weeks to receive the necessary part as it needed to be ordered from overseas. Upon following up, I was dismayed to learn that the part had still not been ordered or manufactured. I feel inconvenienced by the delay and believe I should be compensated for the lack of availability of the part, leaving me with a product I am unable to use. I am requesting a new machine be sent to me while the current one is still in the service center. I believe it would be the ethical responsibility of your company to handle the situation in this manner. I am disappointed by the lack of empathy and consideration displayed throughout this entire process.

I have a MF7460DN printer with serial number U62701G2N278154. There is an error message persisting despite clearing all the internal rollers and jams. The message "Paper Jam Inside" remains even after removing and reinserting the toner and drum. The error reappears after every copy made using both the auto feeder and platen. How can I successfully clear this paper jam error message for uninterrupted copying?

I recently purchased a Brother Printer MFC-J4335DW and I have already run out of ink cartridges after printing very little. The box stated "up to one year of ink in the box," but this has not been my experience. I expected to have enough ink for a year, but that was not the case. Now, I am hesitant to buy more ink as it seems I did not receive the expected amount initially. I am considering returning the printer to eBay as I am disappointed with this situation. Initially, I chose Brother over Epson, but now I am second-guessing my decision.

Hello, I have been using a Brother MFC-J995DW inkjet printer for approximately two years now. While the Magenta/Cyan/Yellow colors are printing fine, the black cartridge, which is more than half full, is leaving streaks on the prints, indicating clogged heads. I have tried running the head cleaning procedure which temporarily resolves the issue, but the streaks reappear after a day or two. I am hesitant to run the head cleaning routine each time I print, so I am considering replacing the black cartridge. However, I want to ensure this will solve the problem as the cartridges can be expensive. In the past, I have found it more economical to replace the entire printer when facing similar issues with clogged cartridges. Although replacing the black cartridge intermittently clears the issue and the other colors are unaffected, I am exploring if there might be a simpler and more cost-effective solution.
