Hi*I booked business class tickets with British Air direct via phone and was attended by an amiable agent named Surabhi.**Ticket was Delhi*London*LAX AND RETURN NYC*LONDON*DEL.**First sector was on BA**** on *th August departure **.** AM.**The first stopover on this ticket was in London and was required because of the ticket that I purchased and not because I wanted the stopover.**When I received my ticket on the email I noticed that the body of*the ticket detailed that for a passenger traveling with a *stopover of more than ** hours would be required to ofload all his luggage with him at London and bring it back next day and also pay for the luggage for the onward travel !**I immediately called back Surabhi and asked her for a clarification and details . All this was over several emails and actual conversations all available with me on record.**She specifically informed me that while there would be no payment required , I would have to take my baggage at London as Airlines could not keep baggage for onward flights for more than **hours?**When I finally checked in at the airport the agent was unable to print my boarding pass for ongoing flight from London to LAX ? Technical reasons was the explanation?**I had reserved window seats on line but on boarding found that my seats were allotted to somebody else? I would like to know how and why?**And even more to my discomfort!!!*Imagine my surprise when I landed at London to find my luggage not arriving at the Luggage counter. On enquiry it was pointed out to me that my luggage had been booked to LAX.**While I was amiss in not checking my baggage tags , I had no reason to check the tags as I had email confirmation from Surabhi that I would have to take them in London.**Since I needed the bags as I had not prepared clothes for London (where I had fixed a dinner appointment with a relative who was in dire medical circumstances) I approached and cajoled a reluctant British air attendant to help me. It took me three hours to get the baggage and of-course my dinner date and everything else was completely destroyed.**Issue *.*Once on board this flight I put my hand baggage in the upper hold and sat down awaiting departure.**After about ** minutes when boarding was complete I was challenged by a middle aged air hostess (older than the rest) to get up and close the hold in a loud unprofessional and aggressive voice that could be heard around the cabin. When I looked up in surprise at her towering over me aggressively with arms on her hip claiming that the hold was too heavy for her—— I obliged her with her demand. *A little earlier she had approached me to tie my seat belt and when I told her I would prefer to do it a little later she had stood over me and insisted that I do it then and there though takeoff was still some time away!!!!!!*I got the impression that she was racist choosing on a passenger who was obviously not white to embarrass a poor Indian business class passenger.**I was able not get her name even though I asked another air hostess named Priti . *Thankfully for the rest of the flight I had to deal only with the amiable Priti. **I more thing the seat configuration on the flight was terrible and I had children jumping over my leg throughout the flight.**All in all a terrible flight except for PRITI who was Indian and pretty like her name.**My onward flight on your ticket was on American airline and was pleasant and happy experience.**I am booked to return on *th September on BA **** to London and then on **th September from London to Delhi. **MY WIFE AND I ARE LOOKING TO OUR ABOVE FUTURE TRAVELS WITH SOME APPREHENSION.
