Having just got signed off to fly by my surgeon following my operation I booked the BA flight **** to Alicante on Sunday *rd June departing **.**, as I needed a walking stick I bought a new case so I pack everything I needed and had nothing to carry.*I arrived at Gatwick self check in at *.** only to find my bag over weight so I was directed to wait at a check in desk, the attendant showed me the reading at **.* kg asking for £** -I said I was prepared to up Grade to business whereupon I would be within but was told it was full *I vacated check in around *.**am and proceeded through.*When putting my phone back on when landing I immediately received a message From BA Baggage that my case was’nt on board and to report to The BA desk when through passport control.*The representative confirmed the position and took my on going details she told me my bag would be on a later flight probably arriving early hours of Monday morning she gave me a statement with a reference of ALCBA***** *Within the printed statement was the time of issue as **.**GMT which meant BA could have informed me prior to leaving - I would not have got on that flight without all my medication which is in the case along with everything else *My sister whom I’m staying with we have been chasing down said case alledgedly it did arrive Sunday evening on BA **** at **.** bag no ****** *It was confirmed when ringing the call centre at *.** am that it would be distributed to courier service during the morning and hopefully with you sometime am, it was pointed out the importance of the medication.*At * pm we made a further call only to be told it’s due to leave the Airport at **.** so should be with you by **.** *it is now **.** some ** hours from when I last saw my case *I’ve heard nothing from the courier who must have my details to at least call - we have told the centre again of the urgency as time moves on *My I pad is also the case*I am BA executive club member and as you can imagine very upset at just about everything that had gone on since checking in*I am fully expecting a £** refund for the baggage you had no intention of putting on the same flight *And still with * pieces of clothing to my name oh and a walking stick*Mobile No ************Urgent response please
