I visited the customer service center in Johnstown, PA around 11 a.m. on Friday, May 31, [redacted], to settle a layaway and then process a return. While I was being assisted, the representative answered three phone calls without acknowledging me. I believe that I should have been helped first, and the calls could have been put on hold or returned later. One call was from someone looking for an employee who hadn't arrived yet. I felt that my in-person presence should have been the priority over handling the phone calls.

I am disappointed with my recent experience at Boscovs during a promotion for a free salad bowl shredder. Both my husband and I shopped as required, but we never received the promised gift. Despite multiple inquiries, we were given various excuses and still have not received the item. This ordeal has left me feeling misled and unappreciated as a loyal customer. My family has been shopping at Boscovs for generations, but the lack of follow-through on this promotion has made me question my loyalty to the store. I had planned to gift the salad bowl shredder to someone in need, but now I am left empty-handed and disheartened by the lack of concern from store management and customer service. This situation has soured my perception of Boscovs, and I am unsure if I will continue to patronize the Scranton or Wilkes Barre locations in the future.

I am Ramona A., and I need to discuss the recent promotion at your store. I am a loyal Boscov's shopper and have been for many years. I shop for everything, from clothes to gifts, and I always take part in your events. I participated in the promotion where I had to shop 3 times a week for 4 weeks to receive a free salad bowl shredder. Both my husband and I qualified, but when it was time to claim the gift, I was told it wasn't available. I was promised it would arrive, but weeks later, it still hasn't. I am disappointed as I spent a lot of money expecting to receive the gift. Not receiving it feels like a letdown, and I wanted to share my frustration. I used to believe Boscov's cared about its customers, but this experience has changed my perspective. I shopped at both the Scranton and PA locations but am now unsure about returning after this.

I encountered an issue with merchandise. I made an order on Rakuten on 10/20/19, but the rebate is not showing up. They advised me to contact Boscov's to resolve this. There was a mix-up in the shipment on 11/1/19 where items were missing, then corrected and resent, with a 3% rebate promised. Recently, I made two more orders on Rakuten on 12/3 (10% rebate) and 12/4 (3% rebate). Thank you, Diana Slusser.

I ordered 2 cards. The first one paid via PayPal was canceled as the recipient was unsure how to use it as an email card. I contacted PayPal to cancel it. The second card, sent by mail, was charged to my Boscov account. There seems to have been a mix-up with the orders. I have been waiting for a resolution since our initial conversation. The details are: 1st Order: - Date: 10/19/[redacted] (via PayPal) - canceled. 2nd Order: - Date: 10/22/[redacted] (charged to my Boscov account) - given to the recipient by me. The received gift card was declined at the store, showing a balance of $0. This issue needs urgent attention. Thank you.

I recently returned two pairs of Petite Briggs Perfect Millenium Pants in size PM (order #[redacted]) to Boscov for a refund. However, I actually wanted to exchange them for two pairs in size PL in black. I have tried calling Boscov's customer service at [redacted] multiple times, but have been placed on hold for over 30 minutes without any assistance. I purchased travel insurance for $[redacted] to safeguard my trip package to Disney. With the current closure of Disney and CDC advisories against travel for those over 60, including myself nearing 70, I need to cancel my $4,[redacted] trip. I was given until tomorrow to decide but still face a $[redacted] loss. Where is the customer care? I demand a full refund in light of the global pandemic and health risks for someone in my age group. I got the insurance precisely in case such unforeseen events occurred. I'm concerned about contracting Covid-19 and purchased this package, including airfare, lodging, and insurance, in good faith. It's a time of crisis, and I expect understanding and support.

I bought black outdoor cushions in early June, but they turned out to be dark navy blue. I returned them to Boscov's in Exton, PA last Saturday. The customer service representative mentioned that since I used PayPal, my refund would be given in store credit. I wasn't happy with this option. She also suggested that I return the cushions directly to PayPal. This confused me as I prefer the refund to go back to my linked credit card. This encounter has made me hesitant to shop online with Boscov's in the future. I am a regular customer, and this incident has left a negative impression.

Hello, I recently purchased a Bluetooth CD stereo system online with item number [redacted]. Unfortunately, the stereo system arrived damaged. The front of the stereo receiver above and to the left of the analog meters has noticeable dents and ripples. While the rest of the receiver looks fine and there are no chips or scratches in the damaged area, I would like to return it and request a replacement. I am still interested in the Bluetooth system and hope that the damage was an isolated incident. I recently received order #[redacted]0, which included two pairs of Ryka Rae 2 Athletic Sneakers in Size 8 1/2W, one in Medieval Blue and the other in Sleet. The Medieval Blue pair fits well, but the Sleet pair is too tight and uncomfortable on my big toe. I returned the Sleet pair, incurring over $10 in return shipping fees. I believe I should be refunded for the return shipping cost as well as the sneakers, as the sizing issue was not my fault. I have been a loyal customer and returning the item in person to the St. Clairsville, Ohio store is not feasible due to the distance from my home in Ohio. I have indicated on the return slip that the size was not as expected. Your assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I have repeatedly tried to contact customer service with no response. I am extremely disappointed with the handling of my order number B[redacted]3, scheduled for delivery in September, now lost by FedEx. I cannot file a claim myself but have been charged on my Boscov card for a gift that never arrived. Subsequent shipments are on the way, but due to this experience, I will no longer shop online at Boscov. The lack of communication and service is unacceptable, making it impossible to trust in future purchases.

I need to cancel order #[redacted]4. There was an error in my earlier Boscov's order and I received the wrong item. I intended to reorder the correct item without paying for shipping. The incorrect item doesn't qualify for free shipping. I reached out to Boscov's via email and Chris, a Boscov's representative, provided me with a free shipping code. However, when I used the code during the order placement, it was invalid, and I ended up being charged for shipping on my account. I would like to cancel the order mentioned above.

I recently purchased a pair of sneakers from Boscov's online, but unfortunately, they do not fit, so I need to exchange them for a larger size. When I visited my local Boscov's store, they informed me that they do not handle online order exchanges. However, the packing slip included information stating that if I called Boscov's, they would assist me with the exchange and waive the shipping fee for the new pair. I have been attempting to contact them at [redacted] option 4, but have had no success in reaching a representative or receiving a call back. I am disappointed by this experience, as I have never encountered a store that does not accept online order returns or exchanges in-store.

I'm currently online attempting to complete my checkout process. I have a 15% "take an extra" coupon that the website instructed me to enter in the promo code section, but it now says it's invalid. The coupon is valid until 12/12/[redacted]. I understand that I need to use my Boscov's credit card for this purchase, but I'm unsure of how to proceed with the checkout process. I've been on hold via phone since noon, seeking assistance to finalize my checkout, and I am still waiting for a representative to assist me.

Hello, I received my last order delivery on 12/12/20 addressed to Rosemary Steer, but it wasn't complete. The Hipstear Panties in pink were missing from order B[redacted]7. I have called customer service three times today and each time I had to wait for over an hour. Additionally, the order was packaged strangely and no invoice was included. I placed an order for curtain panels in November, and my MasterCard was charged on November 16, [redacted], for $81.53. I haven't received any updates on my order. I've called your [redacted] number six times without receiving a callback within 24 hours. I'm disappointed with the customer service experience. I purchased two $[redacted] gift cards on 11/30/[redacted] for Christmas gifts. As of 12/15/[redacted], my order hasn't been shipped. I've emailed multiple times and spent hours on hold trying to address this issue. I've also requested to cancel the order via email, but the charges still appear on my Boscovs credit card. I urgently need this matter resolved.

I bought several clothing items from Boscov's website on November 29. I got one piece delivered on December 10, but the rest are missing. The order number is [redacted]5. The tracking only shows a label was created on December 2 in New Jersey. I've already paid for the order, but I'm concerned about the delay. I purchased a Christmas tree using my Boscov's credit card. The account number is ending in [redacted] under Catherine and William B. The tree was priced at $[redacted].00, and my spouse received a veteran discount. We took the display tree and had it repackaged. After setting it up, we noticed some bent branches, but managed to make it work in a corner. Although I adore the tree, I believe a discount is warranted due to its display condition and poor packaging. Unfortunately, I am unable to locate the receipt.

I purchased a clock radio from Boscovs' website, which was advertised as an AM/FM radio, but it turned out to only have FM capabilities and is poorly constructed. When attempting to return it at the local store, I found a large crowd, and due to the current health situation with COVID-19 in Camp Hill, PA, I am uncomfortable going inside the store. To my surprise, I received an email stating that another identical clock radio has been shipped to me, even though I did not make this additional purchase. Now, I am left with two unwanted clock radios. I am unsure if I will be forced to keep both clocks due to my reluctance to enter the store for a return.
