Boost is owned by Dish, which is notorious for putting the customer last. GetHuman gave me a viable phone number for tech services (still protected by an automated maze). Finally got a tech from Bangalore. **Find the procedure (poorly executed and documented). Follow the steps (as best you can). It requires a software update and wireless connection. Make sure your phone has WI-FI enabled, just to be sure. I signed on for Todo first (which was a chore) on Boost desktop. Then I followed their crappy directions. They gave me their **number* update directions, and I did it. It looked like it worked (still sketchy). Prompted, "This may take a few minutes" - no progress bar, no nothing. **Next day, no nothing. Takes a soft reboot. Bingo. Operational. Hate Boost. If you need step-by-step, I think I dug it out from Boost (after digging), or a google-searched forum.**This may be too much for the tech-challenged - it pissed me off. As an advisory, go to your Boost store and have them do it (add-ons, Todo, etc) BEFORE YOU LEAVE. **Final: Find the procedure and various update codes (** various*) (Boost, forum) MyBoost, Google.* If you have a laptop*PC, it's much better, although still shite. I like my laptop, you may be stuck with just * your phone. ** Execute the instructions, lame as they be. Don't forget the **numbers* - do it on the dialpad of * your phone*PC. Follow the bouncing ball - meaning, "wait". This may take a few minutes,** I executed a soft reboot after a day. Everything was coming up roses. I had a headache, but I got a dial * tone and messages. Abandon Boost. It's not worth the **$*mo. Joe's out. Thanks, humans.
