The evening that I purchased the phone I did receive a text message from Boost stating that my phone was going to be turned off for failure to pay on the "Family Plan". I had purchased a phone and a single line. Also, there were thirteen (** ) apps downloaded from the App Stoe.*When I realized that I had unknowingly purchased a used & discontinued phone, i called to explain that to a Customer Care representative. As the store manager was going to charge me an exorbitant fee to have my number ported from Metro, I decided I'd take up that issue with corporate. When i called Customer Care on the following day, i spoke with a bery pleasant and knowledgeable gentleman who did change over my number and assur me that the other issues would be handled properly. The other issues were not handled. They worsened. The phone's speaker is faulty, the device goes off-line continuously, I will often have to dial a number *-* times befote it finally gives a dial-tone and ring........ Since my purchase on April. **th, ****, i have placed * phone calls to the (haven't a clue what) "Customer Care" (is). I'm told each time *by the telemarketer* that they will "Escalate" my call to a Supervisory level. After a considerable time on hold, a person comes on the phone only to ask me my full name telephone number and account PIN and assure me they will fix the problem. They ask me to explain *again* the nature of the problem. I do explain, in detail* but, apparently, this person cannot comprehend structured english with correct enunciation, pronunciation, prepositional sentences...et al. They ask me to again explain the reason for my call. And then...again....just * min later! Really!!! Then, when I ask to speak with their supervisor, they will either *) hangup or *) transfer me to the store from which I bougjt the phone. I once was transferred to Samsung, the mfr. of this phone. Je asked for the IMEI number. A moment later he told me that he couldn't cover it under warranty because, "The phone's warranty had expired more than * year ago"!! Confirmation that the phone I possessed (which had ** apps previously downloaded, was part of a. "Family Plan" and wasn't working properly) was a ripoff...and the folks down there in some call center half way around the world are supporting this thieving liar who manages a Boost Outlet store in Fort Worth Tx. I purchased t phone on the **th, couldn't use it until the **th, and then the phone was shut off on the **th due to "...excessive usage of data". I thought unlimited meant "unlimited". I want a new quality phone or refund my purchase price and the * months service fees for all the frustration, lies, theft and deceptive trade. I am on a mission, and i won't stop. And each time I'm disconnected, lied to and*or handed-off to some gatekeeper... I will tell another company or another person or group of persons. I work with the County, volunteer for various organizations...and i am very visible, vocal and gregarious. As such, I will speak with dozens, if not hundreds-of peoples every week. Now that's a lot of exposure....that Boost doesn't want, nor need. I am very vocal and very passionate. Its better to have me on your side. Promise. Just do the right thing!
