Dear Booking.com, Upon arrival at the hotel, we were asked to make an additional payment, which we did (for the 2nd time). In the morning, apologies were offered but they were unable to refund us. Instead, they issued a €[redacted] Credit Mutuel check. Unfortunately, this check cannot be cashed in the Netherlands. The hotel is not responding to my request for a refund. Can you assist me in getting this amount back? Thank you, W.J.

I attempted to make a reservation for five people in two rooms at the SunCoast Park Hotel Anaheim, Tapestry Collection by Hilton from January 24th to January 28th, [redacted]. Despite being informed that adding breakfast at $35 per person was optional, the booking page did not provide us with the option to remove breakfast. Additionally, we were charged $[redacted] for parking even though we will not have any vehicles. Is it possible to have the parking fee removed from our bill? Lastly, could you please clarify the daily resort fee per room at this hotel? Thank you!

Hello, I am inquiring about my booking with confirmation voucher [redacted] for a room in Nadiad on the 19th for check-in and 20th for check-out. I reserved a spot in Philadelphia for September 17th to 19th. Sadly, a last-minute flood caused damage, and the host couldn't accommodate me. Despite the host initiating the refund process promptly after I was informed, I'm still waiting for the $[redacted] reimbursement three months later. I've been unable to reach booking regarding this matter, and the host mentioned that he's unable to assist because the booking was made through the platform.

I had an issue with my debit card being used to book a room under a different name, Chris Barber. When I arrived, the staff person was unhelpful and didn't allow me to check in as the reservation wasn't in my own name. This caused a delay and I missed an important meeting, leading to a lot of frustration. I had to find another place to stay nearby. The service I received was disappointing, and I believe the staff member should be reprimanded for her behavior towards customers.

I had made a booking at Breeze Apartments through Booking.com with booking confirmation number [redacted]. Upon contacting Breeze Apartments to confirm my reservation, the owner, Arifa, requested upfront payment and increased the price from $[redacted].59 to $[redacted] per night. I explained that according to Booking.com's policy, payment should be made on arrival at the property at the initially agreed upon rate. Arifa cancelled my booking and gave the room to another guest at the higher rate. This situation left me concerned about the reliability of Booking.com and the treatment of guests by its partners. If I had arrived from abroad, this could have caused significant issues for my family. It raises questions about the partnership arrangement between Booking.com and its hosts, and what safeguards are in place for guests in such situations. Hosts like Arifa should be held accountable for inconveniencing guests and possibly removed from Booking.com to prevent similar incidents in the future.

My French Visa card was fraudulently used to book a Luxury B&B called Villa Breeze in Marbella, Spain through Booking.com. I have informed my bank, canceled the card, and a new one is on the way. Villa Breeze provided me with the name of the person who made the booking and a French telephone number, which I've relayed to the bank. I reserved two rooms at the Tower Hotel for 28/12/21. Unfortunately, I had to cancel the bookings, but the payment for both rooms was still deducted. It's been 12 days, and I have not received the refund, causing me to be significantly overdrawn. Upon reaching out to the hotel, I was surprised to find that they only had a reservation for one room. Please expedite the refund process for the payment of the two rooms as soon as possible. I am quite displeased with this situation.

I booked a 5-bedroom rental with Vacation Homes of Orlando at [redacted] Yellow Snapdragon Drive in Davenport, Florida from 12/23-12/30. I received confirmation this morning, followed by a message stating only a 4-bedroom home is available. Can you provide 2 smaller homes (2-3 bedrooms each) close to one another within the same complex for the same dates? It's important we have accommodation for all 9 of us. When attempting to search for a place on booking.com, the website is consistently translating the city of Guelph, Ontario, Canada into Cancun. I made a reservation for an apartment on December 20th through your website to be near Lenox Mall in Atlanta from Jan 5-8, [redacted]. The owner advertised the unit at [redacted] Peachtree Rd, Atlanta GA [redacted]. After numerous emails and a call to the owner went unanswered, I discovered the address provided was actually the location of Lenox Mall, not the apartment. The owner was unhelpful and suggested I contact Booking.com for a refund. I have spoken to Booking.com, and they assured me of a full refund and waived cancellation fees due to the false advertising. I am requesting either a full refund or a reservation at an apartment within a mile of Lenox Mall in Buckhead as initially requested. I am attempting to contact a representative to request a refund for a night I did not stay at. The location was unreachable using GPS services like Google Maps, Apple Maps, and Waze, resulting in us spending three hours and $80 on a taxi trying to find the place. Despite asking locals for directions, we ended up at a dead end unable to access the property. It was frustrating as we would have needed a 4WD vehicle to reach the location. Our journey to get there lasted from 9:30 to 1:30.
