Dear Sir*Madam**I am writing this to request for waive on the fee for booking cancellation which is not done by me.**I made a booking at Oyo *** D'grande Hotel for check-in on ** October **** at *pm. I already did my comfirmation booking with Oyo *** D'grande Hotel through WhatsApp as attached on this email. On my arrival at the hotel for check-in, the front desk told me that my booking was cancelled by booking.com. I was not aware of this due to inaccesible of my email cause of not having any local sim cards or data at that time. **Since it was peak period and getting a room last minit was not easy, I hastily made another booking through booking.com. When I checked on the location of the hotel, it was far from where I want to be which was Nagoya Hill, So I cancelled it. I could not find any Hotels available from booking.com around Nagoya Hill. **After walking around, found a hotel near D'grande hotel called Hotel Kolekta with only * room available so I decided to grab it before the room is sold out. When I check-in, I realise that Hotel Kolekta have alot of non local resident. After, I found out that they were all either refugee or asylum seeker, which i do not feel safe and comfortable to stay for the night. But unfortunately I do not have the privilege of getting another Hotel as peak period most hotel are fully booked. **I never had any issue using booking.com before this. This is the first time my holiday was unpleasant and this time I am really upset with booking.com treatment of cancelling my booking even though I already have made the confirmation with the Hotel.
