I booked what I thought was my own bedroom at a Youth Hostel in the lizard, Cornwall for * nights but when I checked in and got the key it was for a shared dormitory. I did not stay a single night and handed back the key. I was told by the youth hostel that customers who book through booking.com often arrive expecting their own room and end up with a shared dormitory. I was unable to get a refund from the youth hostel and was advised to contact yourselves. My booking reference is **********. As a result I had to find alternative accommodation as I was *** miles away from home so going home was not an option. I genuinely feel that your website when booking this accommodation was very misleading. I would like a refund for the £** as I never stayed a single night.
