Help with my Booking.com issue

Booking.com booked us the wrong hotel. We had booked a hotel in Colaba, Bombay but they booked us a hotel in Malad, a suburb of Bombay and over * hours away from Colaba. We have contacted Booking.com about this and although they responded that they would find a solution to our problem we have not heard from them. This was on October **, ****. *The hotel we initially wanted to book was Sea Palace Hotel in Colaba. The hotel they booked us in was Sai Palace Grand in Malad. *As we are from Quebec, Canada and have never been to India, we assumed that perhaps Sai was simply the Indian term for sea. *Booking did not advise us of this change of hotels, nor did they tell us that the hotel was over * hours from Colaba. We trusted Booking but feel that they are not acting correctly with us.*We've asked Booking to change our reservation (same dates: January **-Januuary **, ****) to Sea Palace Hotel in Colaba, Bombay, * single beds. *We also feel that Booking is running away from their mistake of booking us the wrong hotel.*Our reservation number is **********. *Both of us, Denise Fortier and Carol Balawyder have often used Booking.com for different trips both in the past and in the present and hope that this issue will be soon solved to our satisfaction.

Yes, I did contact Booking.com by phone and the problem was resolved within ** hours. Our reservation in Malad was cancelled and we booked another hotel in Colaba.
