Confirmation number ****.***.*** *My apartment was booked and paid in full for * nights I requested to check in between ****-**** my uk flight was delayed by just over the hour, when I landed in Venice at **** I was in contact with the operator asking them to wait or leave the key in a safe place so I could get in. Up to **** they were in correspondence so knew I was coming to the apartment. After this time they did not carry on replying to WhatsApp. We then had to find another hotel in Verona in the late evening! I contacted booking.com at ****hrs on the *rd August tel number *** ** **** **** spoke with Katla explaining the problem and she said she would contact the operator and phone me back. At ****hrs I phoned again and spoke with Rheana and again explained the problem and got no-where and asked for a manager who was called Isabell at ****hrs after she spoke with the operator she said “they are sad I cancelled and would give me **% of the booking value back. I have now had to try and find another place to stay for another * nights and pay more money, once again in going around in circles I said to the supervisor at not one stage has booking.com said how bad the situation is and we must find you some alternative place to stay as you have been abandoned, she said to me anything else I can help you with and have a nice weekend and put the phone down on me!! What kind of service is this by any company let alone a international one that has multi million users. I would like to think someone will respond to this and the minimum I want is my money back in full as they cancelled my booking not me, they could of said for the first night I was late and missed the check in so come back in the morning and have the remainder * nights that have been paid for.*I am going to go on trip advisor and the which magazine and any other reviews sites about all of this and thankfully made notes of names and times
