I was going to Barranquilla to meet a lady I met online but she changed her mind unexpectedly. Since I had no interest in going to that city before, I decided to contact the property and plead with them to cancel my reservation for free since it was one of these non-refundable deals but I could not reach them. I kept hearing a recorded message in Spanish that said my "service has been suspended" and to pay the arrears if I am a prepaid customer and wanted the service restored. **Since this is the number the property has provided at the Bookings.com website, I was, needless to say, perplexed because I could not imagine why a whole hotel would have their phone number suspended due to lack of payment. **Anyway, if Booking.com can kindly reach out to the property on my behalf, I would appreciate it. I ended up canceling the reservation out of frustration but for what it's worth for the purposes of the requested intervention, the Confirmation * is: **********.
