Good evening. On March *, **** I booked a room at the Country Inn & Suites by Raddison, St. Petersburg-Clearwater, Fla. Booking conf * ****-***-*** pin ****.*When we arrived the veining of April **, **** for our reservation we were told by the gentleman on duty our room was changed from a queen room with two queen beds to a king size bed by the manager. I was with a male friends o this made a very uncomfortable and not appropriate situation. I asked the attendant to please change us back to the queen beds and he said there were none available since a busload of soccer kids were renting the balance of the hotel. I asked him how this happened and he said he had no idea but the manager's initials were under the change. I asked him to speak to the manager and he informed me he was not available to the next morning. It was late in the evening around *pm, we had just driven * hours and it was not very likely we were going to be able to find another hotel nearby that evening. I went in the morning to speak to the manager (Kunj Patel) and was told he was not available. Later that afternoon, the same thing, unavailable. I have since written to the manager to ask him why he would have changed our reservation without my knowledge and that I felt it was in his best interest to provide us with a refund. I have not heard from him to date and I am now hoping you are able to resolve this issue and I am requesting a full refund for our unauthorized room change. *I use booking.com ALWAYS. I have never had an issue or a situation arise like this.
