RE: Hyatt cancellation for ****-**********, Lawrence Broglio **Reservation Confirmation Number: ***********PIN Code: *******.**********, around **:** a.m.: I contacted Booking.com Genius Service Number (*** *** ****) to remove this erroneous charge. Representative (no name) said they have no record of cancellation all despite my request to move reservation to following weekend and the hotel must have the cancellation.***.**********, around **:** a.m.: Sent email below (*******) to Hyatt after initiated dispute charge resulted in a request for more information.**I cancelled this reservation with Booking.com November *th due to illness (flue onset). I asked Booking.com for the next weekend at Hyatt but was told there's no availability for similar room*price. However, I am billed a cancellation fee for the week I cancelled. I contacted Booking.com Genius Service Number (*** *** ****) to remove this erroneous charge. They claim that I must have spoken with Hyatt to cancel and to contact the hotel for resolution. I hope you can correct their error or get them to do so.**Thank you for your help in advance,**Lawrence Broglio***.**********, around **:** a.m.: I found and called the Hyatt number as directed Hyatt (* *** *** ****…*, for representative). I spoke with Representative Geneva around **:** a.m.**Geneva told me that I must have dealt with an inexperienced Booking.com rep because they should know that Hyatt Hotel cannot cancel booking made through a *rd party, such as Booking.com. Geneva recommended I contact Booking.com (Bc) again because Bc has to call Hotel to ask for my refund. Then the Hyatt will refund the charge.* **.**********, *:** p.m.: I called Bc several times* each time after several rings the call disconnected. So per Bc instructions I emailed this to Bc’s “Step * Voice the Issue clearly” (*:**pm)***.**********, *:** p.m.: It appears obvious to me that this is a runaround where Bc will not act responsibly and Hyatt offers no other recourse. Please make the reversal of payment to me permanent
