I got a mail as a genius member that I would get $** back on my next trip. I booked the hotel and didn't get the $** back. Called customer service and he asked me to take a screenshot of the booking at the time to "prove" that I typed in the link! Question is, I already booked it and it is done, who takes screenshots when you make a reservation? I have the letter that told me how to book and I follow the link to do so, that should suffice, why would I want to cheat you out of $**? It is insulting. The customer service person was absolutely terrible, when I asked for his name, he just hung up. I have been using booking.com for a long time, sorry to say you just lost a long time customer!!!!
GetHuman-minhsing did not yet indicate what Booking.com should do to make this right.
