Hi *Booking confirmation:***********.**We did not realise the apartment we booked was privately owned. We thought we were booking an apartment in a hotel. *There is no issue with this however the Owner is requesting direct payment into their personal bank account prior to arrival. *We had opted to pay on arrival by credit card. *Also we have just read on Booking.com site they request $*** in cash on arrival for any damage which we were not aware of when we booked. **We did have issues originally as our credits card details were not on the system. This has now been rectified. **I replied to the owner Booking.com has our credit card details now and was reluctant to give them the details directly via email or make payment straight into their personal account. **Is the owner paid through Booking.com or direct to their bank account. **Kind Regards **Marie & Chris Florence
