Yesterday around * pm I made a reservation to stay at Best Western Dulles Airport Inn. When I learnt that my daughter was not feeling well I was forced to make other arrangements. *Immediately I began trying to contact booking.com. As a tourist I borrowed a fellow passengers phone as i did not a local U.S. phone. **. I called *** ******* from the Amtrak station and cancelled. ***. I called the hotel. The receptionist told me she couldn't assist. ***. I went online and using a link on the booking. com site I punched in the reservation number and completed the steps to cancel the booking. *ALL THIS WAS DONE BEFORE the *pm deadline given by booking.com in order to secure free cancellation. **I am now seeing in my email a request too rate my stay at Best Western. **I have used booking. com over the years with much success and i would be grateful for the urgent rectification of this matter.
