My ** year old mother booked a flight on SW Airlines and they offered to find a hotel that matched those days for her, so she accepted. Booking.com was the *rd party that set up the reservation, but instead of filing it for August **th-**th, filed it for June **th-**th. Unless you're paying very close attention, it's easy to miss the month change. My mother requested the date change, to which booking said they'd "try to contact the hotel", but in the meantime charged her $*** dollars to cancel the reservation. This is an elderly woman on fixed income and $*** is * weeks worth of groceries and bills for her. I need to know who I should talk to in order to get her refunded the $*** they charged her to cancel her reservation when they were the ones who changed the dates on her initial reservation in the first place. Confirmation code was ****.***.***.
